She called to ask if I was coming in. I said no, didn't know I had an appointment. No one ever called that one time. Susan was trying to make a point. That was my last interaction. They were everywhere and twisted in every direction. Her treatment is ongoing and will be for several more years, but he is thorough, patient, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain treatment options in a way that is easy to understand. I was so pleased with him and his staff I decided to use him for my Invisilign treatment three years ago and my teeth are awesome now! I would recommend, if you are looking for an orthodontist, look no further. He is your guy. And by the way, nothing against dentists, but if you need Invisilign, use an orthodontist! I have experienced both now and it makes a difference. Orthodontists are trained to move teeth. Just because you are using trays instead of wires doesn't negate the need for that expertise. Dr. Getman spent a good deal of time, with the Invisilign folks, designing my trays. That did not happen with the dentist.

I recieved 7 stiches to my lip and 3 to my hand. Within 3 days my lip became necrotic. I saw my PCP on day 4 and her IMMEDIATE reaction was that I needed to see a surgeon THAT DAY!! No one was available on Day 5 Dr.Russ examined me.... cut out the necrotic tissue on my lip and performed the MOST AMAZING reconstruction surgery!! He claimed he wasn't a plastic surgeon but his work was AMAZING. After following his treatment plan as instructed... when I came back 3 days later for my post-op visit. He was thrilled that the wound looked 1000% better and so was I !!! On day 10 he removed the sutures he placed and OMG!!! The deformity that I anticipated having was NO LONGER an issue because his work was ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING leaving only a hairline scar!!! His team and office staff were also AMAZING and very empathtic to my situation from the first day that I entered the office!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! When I took him, they took x-rays and when that was done, they call my sister and myself back to show us what they saw. He had plaque buildup, and needed to use a special mouthwash for a short period of time, which I understood. But they informed us that it would take two visits to clean his teeth. supposedly, his plaque was that bad. I thought ok, it had been 3.5 years since his last cleaning. (That visit was with a different dentist, whom he had seen for years.) When they gave me the appointment date and times, they also gave me the price for the two cleanings. $1,288.00 was the cost! YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT!! $1,288.00. I would have to be crazy to pay that much for cleaning! I called his old dentist, they saw him the next morning, took x-ray and cleaned ALL HIS TEETH IN THAT ONE VISIT! COST: $215.00!
