Lynchburg Landscaping did a fantastic job on a backyard fire pit/retaining wall project. They installed a dry stacked, natural stone retaining wall, a natural stone fire pit, a crushed stone patio, some boulders for seating around the fire pit, and a number of plants and stones around the border of the space. From the very first consultation, I felt that they understood the vision I had for the space and made some fantastic suggestions for getting the look that I wanted. Once they got going, the project moved along rapidly and everything looks great. They had to drive through my neighbor's lawn to bring in the heavy equipment and all the stone. After the project, they laid down some sod and grass seed in the areas of my neighbor's property that were damaged. I am thrilled with how the space looks, and my neighbor was really happy with how they addressed his concerns both before and after the work. As for the price, the project was not cheap, but considering the quality and scope of the project I would say it was a great value. I got quotes from a couple of different places before settling on Lynchburg Landscaping. It came down to 2 companies that I was confident would do the work well. LL's quote was about 10% cheaper than the other company and their project plan involved a lot of extras like the boulders and plants that the other company was not including in their estimate. Scott worked with us to understand our vision, and executed it perfectly, adding his own experience to make the final project even better than we thought we could achieve in our space.
