I'm going to start out by saying I will come back and update this review if things are different on my next visit. I have been a patient of Dr. Goodrich's for almost 20 years. I started seeing her back when the practice was over on Lyndhurst Avenue. I went in for my annual exam in October 2025. My appointment was for 8:45. I got to the office in plenty of time. The little sheet they hand you to give to the nurse said it was printed at 8:32. I sat right next to the door where they call you back to the suite. I waited, and watched as women who came in after me got called back. I got curious to see how long it would take them to call me back, so I did not approach the front desk, though they could see me sitting there. Every time a nurse came out and called someone else back, I would sigh loudly and look at my watch. I was finally called back at 9:30. I asked the nurse if they were busy and she just kind of mumbled a reply. We did my vitals and I was shown to the exam room. I undressed and sat on the edge of the exam table, waiting. At 9:48, the doctor knocked and came in. That is a full 63 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The entire time I was waiting, I was hoping I would get a patient satisfaction survey after my visit. As luck would have it, I got one the next day. I laid in to them. I told them about my wait, and all of the women that arrived after me that were called back first. I told them the only reason I continue to come to the practice is that Dr. Goodrich is able to give me an exam without it hurting. Radiation treatments for rectal cancer have caused issues for me. I received a phone call from the practice manager, who seemed appalled by my experience, the next day. We spoke for probably close to half an hour. I suggested some things they could do, as I am sure I am not the first woman to experience that. For example, putting signs up saying to let the front desk know if it is 15 minutes past your appointment time and you have not been called back. We'll see if any of my suggestions were taken when I go back later this year for my annual visit. Another reason I am giving a lower rating is the fact that they seem to go all out in October for breast cancer awareness, but do nothing in September for GYN cancer awareness. I even asked the nurse who did my vitals if the place was awash in teal in September, the way it was awash in pink in October. She told me that some people wear teal shirts. The little bulletin boards in the exam rooms that you look at as you are waiting for the doctor to come in always have information about breast cancer, but never have information about GYN cancer. I pointed this out during my phone call with the practice manager. I said having a sign with the symptoms of GYN cancer on it, might just get a woman to mention to her doctor that she has been experiencing some. GYN cancers are notoriously caught in later stages, because women put off their symptoms to other things, like period cramps or GI upset. Don't get me wrong here, my mom was a two time breast cancer survivor. I do not begrudge the breast cancer awareness. I happen to be an ovarian cancer survivor, so I am more attuned to that. The practice manager said they were thinking of going digital with their bulletin boards. She said that she would suggest they add information about GYN cancers to it. I went to them for years, but as time went on, things got worse and worse. My last provider here could've cost me my second pregnancy, if not my life because he refused to take me seriously. Eric Usher. Multiple providers tried to push birth control onto me when I said no, him included. I told them about my health concerns, worsening pain, odd hormone test results, and they refused to do anything other than offer birth control that I had already rejected. They didn't bother to test for a pregnancy. Dr. Usher even mistakenly sent me an email he meant to send to his receptionist about me, essentially claiming that I was a nuisance and assured me that no other provider would tell me anything different. This was a lie - a dangerous one. I was pregnant, and another provider confirmed it. They did do something different after all. It could've been ectopic, I could've died. Thankfully, it was a normal pregnancy with a subchorionic hemorrhage. I called the president of the practice and she was horrified to hear about how I'd been treated - even how one provider, Katie Henderson, falsely claimed that people stopped producing hormones after menopause. During my first pregnancy, I was told I would lost access to care from them for so much as asking about the possibility of home birth. Don't accept poor treatment from this office just because of the provider shortage and don't let them push you around. Bring up every concern to leadership and get everything on record. Their bad behavior could cost someone their life, the life of their child, or worse. Before considering them, please make sure that they've dealt with their issues for your own safety. I've been here prior to pregnancy and now throughout my pregnancy and I can't imagine receiving care anywhere else.

I've been very loyal to this place for years because it used to be good. I don't know what changed within the past two years but they have almost cost me my life due to their negligence. Their postpartum care is beyond the worst. I've suffered a pulmonary embolism because NINE times I went there after my baby insisting something was wrong "oh it's normal for women to have pelvic pain after having a baby" it's not normal. You shouldn't have to wait 6 months to even be referred to a pelvic floor therapist. It's not normal because you could have PCS. It was their job to have referred me to a vein specialist after I've had clots in the past that were "in a superficial vein and nothing to worry about" turns out that's not so normal because if you don't know what you're talking about when it comes to vein related issues you should refer your patients to other doctors who specialize in them. My ovarian vein was a problem and both of my "superficial veins" it had been addressed in a timely fashion not on my own doing and referring myself I could have avoided this pulmonary embolism. Also after MULTIPLE TIMES being tested for a uti after the hospital said you need to follow up with your doctor because you have bacteria only to follow up and them to not say anything of the results or that they were normal and not send them off for a culture and a month goes by HAVING A UTI to end up with a kidney infection because it got so bad is wrong. Either the way they test isn't right or their doctors don't know what they are doing. Whatever changed here isn't working and could end up costing someone their life or their babies life. The birth control that they shove down your throat or shame you for not taking also is a big factor for a lot of the problems that almost cost me my life from a PE after years and years of being on them. After I told them I can't take it anymore because of having clotting issues the response was "hmm I guess you'll be pre-menopausal" they have no bedside manner whatsoever. Malpractice is what you can expect from here. read more

I was referred here when I was pregnant with my son. The doctors here are so caring. My primary is Dr. Johnson and she is the best. The new office is so nice and it helps that I can get so many things done at one location. read more

Fantastic experience! I came from Hawthorne obgyn because the constant wait time I experienced multiple years at Hawthorne (over thirty minutes to be called back to a room). After mentioning the issue to Hawthorne the women at the front desk were rude and insensitive! However, at lyndhurst the doctor was kind, thoughtful and personable (Katie Henderson). The nurse was also fantastic (Ashley)! The appointment was quick while also being very thorough. I was called back less than 5 minutes after I checked in. read more

The receptionist and front office people were amazing. That's why I'm giving this practice two stars. The care I received however was less than acceptable. The attending doctor was rushed, rude, and disinterested. I came with clear objectives (stated to the nurse) however the doctor focused solely on birth control and how she taught it best I take the pill over other options I was considering without giving me much of an explanation. The doctor pretty much ran out of the door before I could ask her one of my main questions and reasons for coming. This one doctor is not a reflection of the whole practice, but make sure you do your research on who you see before you go unless you want to be gaslighted. I absolutely know better now and will be looking for another doctor. read more

Upon finding out my fiance and I were pregnant I contacted this office. They are extremely kind and great place.

Called to set up an appt to see an OBGYN. Wanda that answered the phone sounded very annoyed and unhappy to be there. Couldn't find my name in the system from where I had been there before with my previous pregnancy. Said I would just call somewhere else and she just said thanks and hung up. Horrible customer service. Recommend a better secretary to answer the lines. read more

I called this obyn hoping to be seen I am 28 weeks pregnant and called one of the ladies at the front desk she knew I was 28 weeks she said she needed to call to the hospital I went to get the records. She told me she would call me back when she got them I waited 4 hours for her to till finally I got tired of waiting so I called them back I was told they couldn't see me because I was too far along, but yet I get no call back. The entire staff is unfriendly and unwelcoming. I had 2 appointments here and then switched providers. Dr. Zimmerman acted like I was inconveniencing her by being there and at my second appointment, which was just for me to decide on and start a birth control, she told me she had better things to do! She also tried to tell me what to do with my sex life, which was uncalled for as I'm an adult! read more

Bad experience for me. Had a serious medical issue that was actually made worse by MD failing to prescribe proper medicine, missing labs, and trying to do procedures despite low blood count. Be careful! Seem nice at first, but not so much when things go terribly wrong. I was referred by a friend to start coming here. That one referral has changed my life literally! The staff is friendly from the moment you walk in. Dr. Lindel truly listens to you as a patient and understands that only you know what you are feeling and experiencing. He is very thorough and also is happy to answer all questions. They have an online portal to be able to reach the office as well and see your chart. I have been in severe pain for a long time and many doctors brushed it off as if it was in my head. Wrong... He not only found the underlying cause of my issue and pain, but customized my treatment based on my history, personal requests and also his medical knowledge. He in fact found several large fibroids and even said only surgery would be the fix for this. Others had tried to suggest other options that won't work for me due to personal and family history. He has forever made my quality of life pain free and enjoyable for the first time in over 5 years! read more

No way would I go to this place. I was treated horribly by the staff. I was seen by one of the nurse practitioners a few months ago. She was horrible in her bedside manner. I had just learned I was pregnant and all she did was try to talk me into getting an abortion. It was one of the worst experiences of my life.Just because I am young and a single mother does not mean I cannot take care of my own child. read more
