    PSI Testing Center

I was thinking about taking the state exam for life/health in person at a testing center since I've…read morehad all kinds of issues with the online proctored exam; however, from these reviews about the testing centers, I won't be doing that either. My review is about the online experience I've had. Between PSI not sending me the link to launch the exam (twice), to when I was finally able to launch the exam and it glitched so that I couldn't get back into the exam. I've had to reschedule 3 times now. Each time I paid $53. They gave me a ticket to get a refund for the most recent time, but now when I call them, they don't answer. There's no hierarchy or corporate number you can call that works. Every agent is outsourced and foreign. It's extremely disturbing that a national exam seems fraudulent. I highly advise that everyone on here reports them to their attorney general because PSI needs to be investigated. I plan on doing so. I filed reports through my credit cards as well.

This is a testing center for multiple different types of exams. My wife had a test scheduled today…read more(2/16/19) at 2:30pm and they said to come 30 minutes early. We got there at 2, the center was closed. About 30 people showed up and still, the room was dark. We called the company and it took a while for the woman (Teresa) to understand what was going on. She spent a while thinking we were the employee. Then once she realized what was going on, she said that we needed to give up to 30 minutes for the proctor to show up. She then spoke to her supervisor who said that we all had to reschedule the exam. They gave no particular reason why the proctor did not show up, and we had planned our President's Day weekend around this exam and had come from 2 hours away to the nearest testing center. The only silver lining is that the rescheduling would not involve an additional fee. There was no warning that the test would be cancelled today. The weather was terrific - sunny and not particularly cold. We called a few days ago to make sure it wasn't going to be cancelled and they said it was all going to be fine and we would be notified, at the latest, in the morning if it got cancelled. Even though this is a one star review, it's not like we have any other choice but to reschedule since this company holds a monopoly on this particular exam we need to take. People are visibly upset and crying in the hallways. Happy President's Day, PSI. Update: We went back to the center on 3/2/19 and there were no major issues. Showed up at 7:30am and they did not let us in the building until 7:35am so there was a minor panicky moment that the same thing would happen again. But it was fine and she passed the test.

My daughter had been struggling with math since 7/8th grade but always managed a C+/B+ on her…read morereport card. When she entered 9th grade her grade and self esteem plummeted to an all time low. We were at a loss. After all, since 7th grade we had spent so much money on expensive tutors and programs (Sullivan, Kumon etc). Nothing was sticking and we were desperate. As a last ditch effort we signed up for Cherry Hill Mathnasium. So we scheduled an evaluation and made our way over the bridge from Philadelphia. It was only a short 20 minute drive and the free parking more than made up for it. I mean, I live in Center City Philadelphia which means driving around for at least 20 minutes to snag a metered spot. Still, my only thought was "Please let this be worth it". Once there we met Nathan, Brian and the whole crew. They explained the program in detail. The hours were flexible, rates were reasonable and everyone was nice enough. So, we gave it a shot and I enrolled my daughter in group classes. As it urned out she was more comfortable with private lessons. We were hesitant to switch over at first because we had already paid for a month of group classes. Nathan (without us even asking) was very kind to give a credit for our unused balance so that Talia could start her private lessons immediately (fun fact: their private lessons are VERY affordable). I was more than pleased with my decision. The instruction is top notch. I could tell my daughter was getting instruction from true professionals who love their jobs, have mastered their craft and who never lose sight of their passion - to awaken and maximize every child's inner math genius - . Long story short, my daughter went from a 58 to an 83 in Alg1 in ONE marking period. All I can say is thank GOD I found Cherry Hill Mathnasium! This is hands down the best tutoring in Philadelphia / New Jersey area!

One year later they both had B's in geometry. They like the classes and the teachers. They also understand that this is great place to go if they have any questions about their homework. The instructors explain it in as many ways as it take for them to understand the work. I think this is a great place to go to make math more fun and less intimating.
