I wish I had hired Lynoka in my original garage installation. The other Braintree company would not come out to grease my garage door, even after I told them that my husband and I were disabled. The response was to do it myself. Even though Scott did not do the original installation, he came out. Once he saw the door, rather than just grease the mechanism, he saw that the installation was subpar and offered to fix it. He was more interested in fixing the installation that charging me money knowing we were on a fixed income, but i paid them anyway for the quality of their work. If you are looking for accountability and reliability in a company, you won't find it here. Consumer beware. We initially called to have glass replaced on one of our garage doors. They came to the home and informed my wife that we ought to replace all the tracks and motors for both doors. My wife made a decision to move forward with this work. I supported her decision but found it strange they recommended all this work when we had zero issue with any of what they wanted to replace. But I figured it was getting old and may as well. The work was completed and appeared to be sound. However, within the first week I discovered the door was getting jammed about 3/4 of the way up about once every 4x of opening the door. I noticed that the new track they installed was bent and catching the wheel, My wife called and left a voicemail and followed up with a subsequent call three days after the initial vm. We were never contacted back. This past weekend, I opened the garage door. I sat in my vehicle wrapping up a phone call for about 5 min and then backed into my garage. The garage door was jammed 3/4 open as it had been doing sporadically, hard to notice when backing in. The antenna was ripped off the car. This will cost thousands to repair the vehicle, gaping hole. I called Lynoka, very upset that my new car had a hole in it's roof and that they had not returned my wife's message and call to repair a job that cost $2,500. In the vm I told them I would be contacted consumer affairs and seeking legal action should they continue to ignore our calls for service that now resulted in massive damage. The owner, Scott, contacted me Monday via text, he told me he would be blocking our numbers and wanted to communicate via email. He let me know he would not service the door for fear of safety based off my angry tone. I have never heard something so absurd and opposite of any sort of customer experience. I'm not sure who would be happy having faulty products installed and damage to property that will cost thousand. Scott proceeded to tell me it was my fault and I should be professional. His lack of response or care is appalling. Not one solution was presented. There is no money in service so it takes good companies to follow through. This is clearly not one of them. We hired Scott to install a new garage door and a door opener. We met with multiple service providers and we were most impressed with Scott. His price was also most reasonable. However, everything went downhill from that point on. Scott made up all kinds of excuses to delay the work. A few days before the first installation appointment, he informed us that the door that was supposed to be in stock was out of stock so we had to wait a few weeks for the new door and pay a 50% deposit. The second time he emailed the day of and said he had a family emergency. The third time, there was no call or email. No one showed up to do the work. When I contacted Scott, he said he was on the way to pick up the door but realized it was broken. So he had to order a new one. He insisted that he had text me, which was a complete lie. He then promised to upgrade everything and reschedule for another day. I was very skeptical so I contacted a friend who is a lawyer and even looked into filing a complaint with the state attorney's office. Much to my surprise, two guys showed up for the fourth scheduled appointment. Scott was not one of them. At that point, I realized Scott must have outsourced the work and had to deal with workers not showing up. I wish he had been upfront about it instead of making up all kinds of lies and putting us through a very stressful experience. Also, the upgrade he promised did not happened. Let me just say, this wasn't my first issue with the door, so I thought we would need to rewire the entire system . Scott/Lynoka, arrived on the day and time stated, awesome right! Scott took about 1/2 hour to check out the entire system then called me back to the garage. I don't know what's going on with these guys, but they're incredibly unreliable. Scheduled my opener install for a Monday, the owner came out and said he could do the job but needed an extra bracket due to the way my concrete walls are up against the rails, which made sense. So he rescheduled for Friday. That's where the problems started. I cleared out my entire garage so he could do the install, he never showed. No call, no text, and he did not answer his phone at all on Friday or on Monday. Several days later some other guy calls me and tells me the first guy had a family emergency so he would take over the job for me. OK, I get that things happen. New guy schedules for Tuesday. Tuesday he texts me and tells me that he's not going to be able to get there so he needs to reschedule to tomorrow (Wednesday).
