Mack has done a great job setting the place up to feel like a classic barbershop. You can tell he takes pride in his work. I went there for the first time in May after trying several barbers in the Scranton area and feeling disappointed every time. I needed to find a good barber before my wedding in June and this was my last chance. I've never had a better experience anywhere. I showed Mack a picture my (then) fiance had picked out and he went to work. I've never felt so confident leaving the barber shop before. I didn't even have to send her a picture to know it was perfect. Honestly, I'll never go anywhere else for a cut as long as I'm in NEPA. By far the most comfortable, friendly barber shop in the area.

I was taken back when I yelped the place and a woman answered the phone & said she'd be waiting for me when I got there... And that she was.....78yr old Ms. Collins was there w/ clippers in one hand, and comb in the other. Once I walked in I knew there was no turning back.... I mean how could I resist this lady after seeing her, and her great smile. I knew this experience could be one of two things .... A Really BAD haircut w/ great convo Or Really Good one w/ great convo ... And that's just what I got..A good one.. It was interesting because I prepared myself for anything ... And as she got started, she blasted her Gospel Music... Took out her screw driver... And adjusted her clippers each time to perfect my fade The convo was more valuable than any haircut i ever had.. It was a blessing to meet such an amazing woman ... Who knows what work ethic is ..and was just blessed to have seen so many things in her 78 years of life. It's hard to find a good flat top and straight razors are almost a lost art. I really had my hopes up so I was kind of disappointed. It's a great family business and I'd certainly go back just not with the same expectations.
