    Delicious Cobb Salad for $9.95.
    Gail P.

Not a lot of dining options available at Glacier Int'l Airport but Lyrna Bistro is a good choice. I knew I had a long day of travel in front of me and time to kill so I stopped here upon arriving at the airport. The choices are your usual Bistro selections but they are freshly made and taste good too. I ordered my go-to salad: a Cobb and loved the avocados and tasty dressing on the salad. There is a small dining area at Lyrna Bistro and it has colorful wall art. I appreciated Lyrna Bistro being located directly across the corridor from the TSA. After I finished my salad, I waited until the TSA line whittled down to a manageable length, cleaned up my table and walked right up to finish breezing through this great little Airport. Enjoy a casual meal at Lyrna Bistro when you travel to beautiful Kalispell, Montana.

I wanted a spiked coffee and usually ask for Bailey's Irish cream. The barista talked me into the Willie's liqueur instead, and it just didn't taste good at all, and it was 7 bucks. It wasn't very hot, either. Prices are high here because it's the only option once you've passed through security.

I got a huckleberry smoothie here for 10 dollars and it was really bad. It tasted so fake. It made my throat scratchy everytime I drank it.

Great Food Indoor and outdoor seating…read moreIncredible beer menu We made a stop here late in the day for some food and we were shocked how FANTASTIC the food was. Rarely do you find a spot that has great beer and great food, but Backslope does both But if you read my reviews, you know I like to steer you through the menu, at least what we tried. Foreman's Stout - full bodied, delicious. Ginger/Lemonade - refreshing, sooooo GOOD. House Fries - sliced as chips, but so good. Hummus - great consistency, but needed some citrus to finish it off. Still good, but I am picky about hummus. Tzatziki sauce - incredible, delicious, get this. Pecan Salad with Chicken - HOLY SMOKES, my wife loved this dish. She made me come back another time just so she vould have it again. Gyro Platter - light on the chicken, but really delicious. It was enough for two or more meals. Gyro - so full I could not fit it into my mouth. But enough for two. Really great find,

Five years ago I met the owner of Back Slope Brewery at a beer tasting in western Montana. That…read moreconversation convinced me to make the trip to Columbia Falls to visit the brewery, and I'm glad I did. What I discovered wasn't just excellent craft beer--it was some of the most memorable brewery food I've ever had. Back Slope took ordinary menu items and turned them into something extraordinary. The pulled pork sandwich and fried chicken sandwich were simply exceptional. The chicken was hand-cut, brined in pickle juice, carefully breaded, and fried to a perfect golden crust. The sauce brought everything together perfectly. Those sandwiches weren't just good--they were the reason I looked forward to returning. Unfortunately, on my most recent visit I discovered that both signature sandwiches are gone. The pulled pork sandwich has been removed from the menu, and the fried chicken has been replaced with commercially prepared chicken. We ordered other menu items, and while they were perfectly acceptable, they lacked the creativity and quality that made Back Slope feel special. What was once an unforgettable dining experience has become, in my opinion, just another brewery with decent food. The service, however, remains excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and greeted us with a genuine smile, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I understand that restaurants evolve and sometimes difficult business decisions have to be made. Still, it's disappointing when the very dishes that set a place apart disappear. Back Slope still has good beer and great service, but the unique culinary experience that once made it worth going out of my way to visit no longer seems to be there. I sincerely hope they consider bringing those signature sandwiches back, because they were truly something special.
