The owner is a cheery fellow and he manages a tightly run car washing ship where you get great service for £5.00. He enquires about your day and always invites you to inspect the end results. Two people will scrub and polish your vehicle to shining perfection and they will even open the car doors and clean the indoor sills. Tyres are black walled and you even get an optional spritz of air freshener. ALL FOR A FIVER! A minor criticism is that the forecourt is quite small and can only fit two cars at a time. It is a popular little place, so this sometime causes queuing.

They also sell some famous makes at reasonable prices as well as the budget tyres too. They will fit and blanace your tyres for relatively cheap. They are also good at puncture repair. Their unit is not massive, can accomodate about one car . But there are 3 people that are on hand at any one time so they can get to work on two tyres at a time. I have been here when i had a 3 inch nail in one of my rear tyres. They repaired it and its been going strong for a long time now! They are quite friendly even if sometimes a couple of them remind me of lurch from the adams family. But in saying that i cant fault them as they do a really good job. Good value for money and they do the job they do well enough so no complaints from me. They do specialise in larger tyres as well, which is not very common. You see large tyres for trucks and even tractors here. So accomodates all vehicles which is a bonus i suppose for some!

I specifically asked them to be very careful with my mint custom painted alloys, when I had a close look at the car when I got home I've found they've managed to damage and partially strip the lacquer from two of them! A wash starts at £4 and a valet from £5. I think this is decent value and they do a good job. It's always so much nicer having someone else clean your car than track back and forth with buckets or cover yourself with the hosepipe, rather than the car. The other bonus for these guys is their location. Next to a lovely newsagent and cafe and relatively quiet as you need to know about these guys, rather than passing them on your usual journey.
