I returned to this shop with my 2019 Mazda CX-5 because it was showing the same brake and electronic parking brake warning lights that they previously repaired in April 2026. The original repair included replacing both rear brake calipers and both rear parking brake actuators, and the invoice states there is a 2-year/24,000-mile warranty. When I brought the vehicle back with the same symptoms, I was told the problem was not related to their previous repair and that it was now a different issue. I was willing to listen to their explanation, but I simply asked for proof. I requested the scan tool results, diagnostic report, fault codes, or any documentation showing why this issue was not related to the work performed under warranty. Instead of providing documentation, I was told that they do not work for free and that if I wanted the diagnosis, I had to pay for it. I explained that I was not refusing to pay for a legitimate diagnosis. I only wanted evidence showing that the current problem was not related to the repair they performed a few months ago. Unfortunately, I was not provided with any scan report, diagnostic paperwork, or written explanation. The conversation became very unprofessional and aggressive. I felt uncomfortable enough that I contacted the police to document the situation. By the time officers arrived, the shop had already closed and the owner had left. I understand that vehicles can develop new problems and that not every issue is covered by warranty. However, customers deserve respect, transparency, and documentation when a warranty-related concern is questioned. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. read more

Been going to this mechanic for years doesn't pull no funny business all about getting it right

I was well taken care of by this father and son duo. My car needed the spark plugs to be replaced and Alvaro found that the gasket also needed to be replaced. Their prices were much cheaper than the dealership I take my Subaru. It took longer than the expected 4 hours as they had found the gasket issue that day and needed to order the correct part. I arrived the next day hours before the quoted finish time and Alvaro offered to drop me off and my vehicle once it was finished so I wouldn't have to wait at their shop for hours. Shockingly bad service. Most of the employees don't know what's going on, and if you make an appointment it will not be honored and they'll simply hold your car hostage. My last experience with them involved me making an 8 am appointment. I show up and no one is there. At 8:15 someone show up. He does not acknowledge that I'm in the books for an appointment. I tell him what I'm there for three times before he understands and he takes my keys and I head off to go do work at a coffee shop. I call an hour later and check on the car, they say it will be ready in 30 minutes. 20 minutes later they call me to say they "forgot" that they can't even touch the car until I've paid in advance. So now I walk back, 90 minutes after my scheduled appointment - to pay for a project they have no even started and am met with the front desk man taking NO accountability, and certainly not offering solutions. Go literally anywhere else. These guys are a shady. read more

I paid $2500 for new catalytic converters. Work lasted approximately 6 months before catalytic converter failed (right side). Upon returning to M & A Auto care, auto tech refused to aknowledge warranty on catalytic converter. Auto tech stated that either I would have to pay for a new catalytic converter, or the unit would have to be removed and sent to manufacterer for a final decision. read more

My review is base on my experience in recent car diagnostic and not putting this shop in a bad business category. I have them replace a water pump and it was done right. The purpose of this review is just to share some awareness for others. I went there for car diagnostic as my car lose its power when it reach about 2.8K RPN and it jerk and lose the power like shocking from gas input. M & M recommendation after the diagnostic for a full day is " REPLACE ENGINE" No explanation of those engine lights my invoice is just plain indicate " REPLACE ENGINE"....hmmm, I just saw these kind of recommendation in one of the reviews... Anyway for me it doesn't make sense when you are driving the car and it was normal and the next day you have bad idle and lose power on high RPM to have a bad engine. I went for a second opinion and request a new diagnostic evaluation from firestone auto care. BELOW is what they came out with. GUESS WHAT ! the car was fixed and I do not need to replace the engine. Sure they can replace the air filter for a certain amount because of labor and disassembly but they charged me almost 35 dollars for replacing a bulb in my left blinker light, which by the picture attached, was not done correctly. I think I just got majorly taken by my mechanic. 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. No problems until 2020. Replaced entire cooling system. November 2021, Cruise control went out and then I noticed that it was running a little hotter than usual, at higher RPMs than usual and when I stepped on the gas to pass, it would not downshift and was very laggy. I just manually shifted the transmission and it was fine. I tried to get into a dealership, but with the government paying people not to work, the appointment times are months out at any good dealerships. My neighbor had a device to read the error codes and is a little knowledgeable in vehicle electronics. Error codes where P0128 (thermostat), 0016 Crankshaft/Camshaft Correlation Error Bank 1 Sensor 1, P000B JEEP Code - 'B' Camshaft Position Slow Response Bank 1, P0301 JEEP Code - Cylinder Misfire Fault Detected, and P2800 Code - Transmission Range Sensor 'B' Circuit. After reading the error code he recommended checking the mini coils to the cylinders and checking the wiring harness and vehicle speed sensor. Since I couldn't get and appointment at the dealership and was moving to another state for a new job, I needed someone quick. He recommended the local repair shop which had generally good reviews and been in business since 1993. I took it in and gave them the error codes we pulled and the recommendations to check the mino coils and the wiring harness and vehicle speed sensor. They never called me and I always had to call them and ask what the discovered. They said the whole problem was the timing chain and they needed to proceed to get to the timing chain to check it out. Still didn't hear from them so I dropped in as I needed something out of the vehicle and they said they found bits of metal in the oil and I need a whole new engine for $7,000 and I would not get it back for 2 months. I needed to leave the state in a week for a new job and could not do that, plus it was more than the vehicle was worth. I instructed them to finish the timing chain work. Finally got the vehicle back today after paying $2,500 and it drives exactly the same, no difference. They never checked the mini-coils, wiring harness or vehicle speed sensor. I think they robbed me blind. What do you think? read more

Took my 2007 Ford 150 because something was wrong with the engine. The only reason I took the truck there was because of the reviews and it was so close to my house. Took a chance with a new mechanic.. Had my son drop off the truck, within a few hours on a Saturday received an email with pictures and a descriptive evaluation of the issue that were wrong. I bought it used for her but it came with an extended warranty and I had never had this before. For a college student, the price is great as well and it's just down the street on Arrow, a few miles away from my University. They have helped us so many times. My wife has a Honda CR-V, someone tried to steal the catalytic converter, but did not finish. He rewelded the connection for a small charge. When it was finally stolen completely, we had to use our insurance but waited six weeks at the dealership. We took it to M &A and they made a customer cover fully covering the catalytic converter, bolted and then welded so no one could take it down for $125, it took them hours to customize it.
