This store is run by the most unbelievably rude people. We live close by this variety store, so we have come here several times to get items we need. The woman works during the day and a man at night, and while the guy is nicer than the woman, he's not much better. You really have to check when you go to buy stuff here - is it any good? We have bought candy, bread, milk and ice cream from them that are all extremely old. We bought some coke cans from them one day, cracked it open to drink and spit it out immediately - turned out it was 6 months past it's sell by date. The woman yells at her customers and is very unfriendly. I don't even like to come by the store because the woman is so mean. There are tons of variety stores on Kerr ST, so we won't be giving this one our business any further. We'll just walk to the one down the street with personable staff and items that aren't a year old - it's worth the extra little hike to not get treated like you're bothering them by giving them your business. read more

The woman behind the counter yelled at me. I had an issue with their DC Bank ATM machine where everything said approved but the machine didn't dispense the allotted money. The screen on the machine provided an error code. When I asked the woman about this she became irate and yelled at me about how it wasn't her machine. She was not in charge of it. The machine is in your facility which means you are renting it, which places its performance under your charge, I will not be going back in to the store for anything.
