All of the staff are friendly and helpful but it's the checkout men/women who are the real superstars of the store. They are chatty, friendly and very helpful. It also has a fairly large petrol station, which is is kept seperate from the store. The store itself has all the usual facilities - delicatessen, bakery, fish counter, large fruit and vegetable section etc. An opening aisle of non-food products too, cookware, clothes, entertainment and items targeted at tourists, like wetsuits and buckets and spades! This store, because of the fact that its really the only sizeable store in the area and also of the booming tourist trade around Wadebridge, mean that at some points it is painfully busy, particularly during the changeable Cornish weather. Which was cold when it arrived. On reflection I noticed the another Lady operative was going round cleaning tables with one cloth ..no liquid and was wiping all and sundry. Hygiene doesn't seem to matter. Although we shop here every week this is definitely one part of the store we shall keep clear of. Not an experience we shall do again.

The shop itself is quite large and caters for disabled people as well as it has a mobile trolley that you can sit on and use. When you go in the shop on the right is a little kiosk where you can buy your lottery tickets and tobacco from etc. The rest of the shop is well laid out and it is easy to find what you're looking for. An ideal supermarket to do your grocery shopping in as it's cheap and has a good variety of groceries.
