We just stopped in and got our document notarized. We were warmly greeted by the Bank tellers, and directed to the Notary. Having a document notarized is a throwback to the middle ages when proving one's identity was rather difficult. I envisioned a day when face recognition or retinal scan will replace this very archaic method.

I've worked a lot with Buffy, who is just as adorable as her name suggests. We have had kind of difficult accounts in the past because my husband worked overseas for a while, but she helped me link up what needed to be linked, helped me get the right account for our needs, and was a champ when it came to having to do a notary signature for the same documents more than once because of an error on my part. After Northwest took over for First Niagara, this branch was so helpful during that rough two-day transition. My husband dealt with a girl (Christa/Krista) who also turned out to be a lifesaver for us. I feel like she went above and beyond on more than one occasion to save us money & help us figure out an error on our account. I truly appreciate that every so often I'll get a call from the security department to go through recent transactions, just to make sure things are the way they should be. Northwest offers online banking, deposits through their app, Apple Pay, and all the other great technological advances in banking. This bank is a prize in our community, and this branch specifically is worth bragging about. If you need a bank, I highly recommend Northwest.
