This little shop sits in a corner of a car park right near Looe harbour. We were wandering around…read moretown and nearly everything was shut, but The Beach Shack had its doors open so we popped in. The shop is just a general beachside gift shop with wares such as postcards, books, beach toys, etc. What makes this shop really stand out is the customer service. The owner was so nice and chatty and when I came to the counter with a huge stack of postcards, she gave me a good discount on them. A few days later we went back and I was impressed that she remembered me and what I had bought before. In a country where customer service is severely lacking, I find it so refreshing when someone goes above and beyond what is expected!
