The gentleman I've dealt with here (Mike) is very nice, very helpful. I've purchased mitragyna speciosa capsules here (better known as kratom) and it's the only place I will buy them from period. Reasonable prices for very good quality. If you buy online, chances are you're buying powder which might be cheaper, but there's no guarantee that it's been tested. Poor hygiene practice in the work place means contamination, and the vendors that Mike purchases from have to test. The caps on offer here are not exposed to direct light or heat which will ruin the quality of the product. I am satisfied that this is truly the safest way to purchase, and there's a very good selection. And remember - when you deal kindly with people, they usually return it. If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would, Stay away from this place. They have the worst customer service I've ever seen, They act like they are doing us a favor by waiting on us. We had some questions about a couple of cigars I wanted to buy for my father and the guy at the counter who was texting without even looking up from his phone told us that we had to wait, He'll get to us when he can. We waited patiently but then he got up, put his phone away and walked away to the back. We continue looking around and we asked another employee for some help but again we were told to wait. If they don't want my buisness fine I can go to any number of shops in the same block. Awfull place. read more

This place is a dump. First of all I called several times to ask a question before driving there, but no one would answer. I took a risk and drive here and saw a lady on the business phone just talking and gossiping with a friend on the phone. I should of known then that they are an unprofessional business. Then I asked the man working there if they had fresh, Newley received cigars. It was a gift so I didn't want to look dumb taking dry cigars. He said "yea of course we just received these" and point at a few brands. I know about cigars so Idk who this guy was trying to fool. Those cigars were old as shit! I was in a rush so I tried to find the most decent ones. The price were so high compared to the market value, and I can't believe the quality. The owner is a thief! Their products are the worst quality and so expensive. I bought a fake hairspray bottle to hide some items inside, and the bottle started to rust after just a couple months of purchase. I told the owner to send it back to the manufacturer as a defect because I didn't want my money back I just wanted what I had originally purchased, and he said he couldn't do anything about it. There goes $30 down the drain. The owner is completely useless and doesn't give a crap about his neighborly customers.... If I were you I would find a shop worth supporting, not this awful store!!!! read more

I've been coming here on and off since I moved to silverlake almost 3 years ago. The owners have always been really nice but just recently when I began my new career, and its locations was conveniently on the way. I started coming in every two to four days and after about a week he memorized my pack and would have it ready for me. I like 100s and previously shorts were a dollar off, I jokingly said "where are the doller off hundreds!? Today I walked in and he told me he had ordered for me! $5! My favorite local spot- Manu always hooks up great deals, has pleasant conversation, and his children are friendly and well behaved. When I've come in panicked- due to a broken water pipe or not knowing any information about what I'd like to buy, the entire staff has always been able to answer my questions and take great care of me. This smoke shop was great. There was a numerous number of vapes and different brands of them. They had great prices on them and I couldn't find any other smoke shop that could've beat it. Family ran with TONS of glass for good prices! Love this shop. I asked Mike if he could get in some of the Raw cones in larger quantity (like 20 or 32) and he brought them in! Excellent and knowledgeable staff. Out of about 6 smoke shops I've been to, MG is hands down the cheapest and best prices for buying Kratom. Other shops charge about $20-$30 more for same brand. MG is the best. read more
