In fact calling it an 'entertainment center" doesn't cover it, either.
The most amazing hotel (Andels Lodz), combined with many restaurants, a cinema, numerous museums (don't miss MS2, it blew me away) and multiple floors of retailers all situated in a 100+ year old former textile manufacturing utopia.
The original buildings have been gutted and re-purposed but maintain their aesthetic appeal.
The courtyard provides enough people watching you could just sit in one of the numerous sidewalk cafes and watch all afternoon. While sipping a beer. Or wine. Or margarita.
Just about any type of cuisine you could want; Polish, Mexican, German, Jewish, Italian, Indian, etc. Lots of it.
An amazing grocery/market where you can pick up food to go, or a bottle of wine.
And although I speak absolutely no Polish, I managed just fine here.
They even had a Sephora in the attached mall, woot woot!
If you ever find yourself in Lodz, Poland, spend a day or two at Manufaktura.
