The place is unassuming, white lime washed walls, simple with a basic bar and a spartan living room decoration - however one of the serious problems at Naïve is the lack of quality in their drinks. We ordered soem jars of drinks - a Clericot, a Sangria & Mojito - they were all 1 litre jars but quite watered down so its basically as good as drinking fruit juice at your grandma's place. However I decided to be bolder and ordered a Gin & Tonic which they have 2 versions - one made with domestic gin and another with Tanqueray - I ordered the Tanqueray (R$ 23,00) one and when the drink came, I was left wondering as to whether the bartender had just sent me tonic water and forgotten to add the gin. I though I was being picky but when my other friends tried a sip of it, they too thought the same so I went back to the bar and complained to the bartender - as per his opinion he had put in the standard 60ml of gin and it was "fine", decided not to argue and went back to sip my tonic water - he came over later with a shot of gin ("complimentary" as per him) so that I should add it to my drink which did make the drink a whole lot bearable but if I hadn't complained, I would be drinking Tonic water. The music indoors is cool but loud so while you're trying to chat with your friends, you have to hike up your volume to be heard. I wouldn't recommend a visit to Naïve unless you want to drink bottled beer but for that there are better places in the vicinity.

Very cool atmosphere (would have been 4-5 star review if it weren't for the attempt to double bill me). Great samba music and initially the server seemed to be super friendly and helpful for someone who doesn't speak Portuguese. It all abruptly ended when it came time for the bill. Was overcharged for the Caipirinha drink first of all...and then when I paid in reals the server disappeared and returned with a credit card machine to attempt to charge me again. Thank goodness I confronted him and he laughed it off and brought me the change from the initial payment. I'm sure it's a local bar and I was attempted to be swindled because I was a tourist. Beware!

We settled on asking for a Bohemia Black Chopp, and the answer was "we don't have this one" even though it was on the menu. So next on the list, Brahma Black, not the first option but OK. Nice ambient, rustic and with good kind of people who frequents the place. I can't answer for tastiness of the food because we didn't other any, but we sure felt like ordering, even after just lunching. That's a to do for the next time.

When the Uber goes to drop us off that difficulty finding location we finally find the location walking around a bit asking others for some help the establishment is closed and is under construction, this was very disappointing especially since the websites says they're open and says nothing about construction. The other disappointing piece is that we had to walk around for a while to find the location they need to update their website site.

Where's the lovely green from the branding and website? Surely you can mine the retro logo a bit more with the decor as well, without being kitschy. Instead, Riviera is like a corporate office park's answer to high-end dining and drinking. Being a huge fan of Dalva e Dito for its gastronomy and for its ambiance, this was, then, a huge letdown. We sampled the oysters, which were delicious. We also had the fine steak tartare and the queijo na brasa, which approximated the delicious originals served at the beaches of Pernambuco. The fried chicken was not quite above boteco chicken, I'm sad to say. Drinks throughout dinner were consistently delicious, and everyone seemed to enjoy the live music. Although again, the recorded announcement preceding it further lays on that stiff, synthetic feeling to the place. I think this place aimed to be a heavyweight contender, with its all-star roster. But ultimately, it comes off as a profitable side project, with sub-par cuisine rubbed to a shiny and expensive veneer by the owners' fame.
