I recently had a change in employment and no longer have health insurance. I ran out of my blood pressure meds and called to have them send a refill to my pharmacist. Because I can't afford to pay their no insurance office fee at this time they are refusing to send the refill!!! The nurse flat out said she wasn't going to send the refill til I came and saw them. I tried explaining to her that I no longer had health insurance and was not feesable for me at this time and if there was an exception that could be made at this time since I need this medicine to live!!! The nurse flat out told me no. So they are denying me a medicine I need to live because I can not afford to pay their office fee!!! What kind of crap is it that a doctors office is denying me a medicine I need to live because I can't afford the price they charge non insurance!!!! I don't know what legal recourse can be done, probably nothing. Either way just wanted to let others before they decide to go to this establishment
