She looked over my body in less than a minute and spent the other two minutes telling me to wear sunscreen, which I have always done. I had to pay an $80 copay. The appointment felt very rushed, she seemed to be in a hurry and didn't stay to answer my questions about what skin care products I should use beyond sunscreen. I felt invisible and like she was too busy to spend time educating me, and because I have a family history of skin cancer, I kind of wanted to make sure I was doing everything to prevent it and maybe learn about what changes to moles should be concerning. If I did have abnormal changes to my moles, they wouldn't be able to see me in time anyway. 9 months and $80 later for a 3 minute visit. She is the sweetest. I first went there for tape in extensions for my wedding and they looked beautiful. They did need some adjusting and securing more and that was no issue. No issues with color, styling. No issues with extreme waiting. Everything goes smoothly and even if there is any delay I am always treated professionally and actually made to feel special and important as all their clients should be. I know that the salon had been a place under scrutiny due to a review on Facebook they received. I honestly can say that one person's actions cannot speak for the entire salon staff. The management is amazing too. I was charged by another stylist when J.C wasn't there and she did not tell me I was being charged for a service and the manager immediately took care of this issue. I was thrilled with the gift, and treasured it not only because at $150 it was the most expensive fragrance that I had ever owned, but also because I had been admiring the perfume for quite a while. My husband checked every department store at Cross Creek Mall for the perfume, but at the time, Perfume Bazaar was the only store in Cross Creek Mall that carried Flowerbomb in the store, all of the other stores offering the fragrance had to order it. After about 6 months of carefully storing my bottle in a dim area, I began to notice that there was a slightly-off scent when I initially sprayed the perfume. I also noticed that it appeared the color had darkened. After another couple of months, I was certain that the perfume was stale and could no longer tolerate wearing it. My husband and I were SO disappointed. I contacted Perfume Bazaar's manager and discussed the situation with him. He stated that there wasn't anything he could do, but that I should contact the store owner. I found his lack of autonomy strange, but went ahead and called the store manager. And called. And called. And left messages. Finally, I called the store manager again, and requested that he try calling the owner. The manager was nice, and he did as I requested and after a few days was able to reach the owner. I called the manager back (again) and was told that the owner would allow me to return my bottle of perfume of which 1/5 had been used (I used up to the first line/bend on the bottle), if I would pay an ADDITIONAL $90 to exchange it for a new bottle. I told him that I had already lost $150, and that to invest another $90 in a perfume that I was unsure would be fresh in a few months was unacceptable. Furthermore, having to leave multiple voice mails with the "Store Owner" and never getting a response was very poor customer service. The manager then told me that he could do no more, as their return policy is 30 days. I was so dissappointed about the loss of $150 dollars that I contacted Viktor & Rolf's customer service. I was e-mailed back that Viktor & Rolf would not help because Perfume Bazaar was not an authorized dealer! I used to work in fragrances at a department store, and a bottle of perfume that has been stored properly should last around 3 years. I was so dissappointed by my experience with Perfume Bazaar that I never repurchased Flowerbomb. It's scent is a reminder of a wasted $150.
