They were more than patient with my poor Italian pronunciation and let me pick out a few items to enjoy. I don't think tourists normally go here because most tourists stay at a hotel and can't enjoy a fresh self-prepared meal. I, on the other hand, have an apartment with a kitchen and we stocked up for a week of late night snacks!

Whenever I want to make a whole roast chicken I make sure to come here. It's just not the same and my bf can always tell the difference even if I try to fib! Our family loves to use the polpette to make mini hamburgers. Only one of the guys speaks a little English, so I suggest prepping your Italian or better yet grab an Italian to help you. The place is tiny and often has as least a couple people in line, be prepared for a wait of up to 15 mins. Their also pricey and only accept cash. But it's all worth it!

This Esselunga is located within a mall, which I have to say is a new one for me, but the location was good for us to walk to and from our apartment and they had a nice variety of items available for purchase. Staff was nonexistent but we were able to find most of what we wanted without any assistance.
