I've worked on The Royal Mile for about six or seven weeks now, and have already seen two rather sizeable, drink and drug fuelled brawls outside. It really is quite astounding that the powers that be send the junkies here, to the city's main tourist thoroughfare, for their pick-me-up. Given that heroin addicts aren't known for their early morning "rise and shine" attitudes, as long as you get here before 1pm you'll be alright, and will find a quite lovely little outlet for all your pharmaceutical needs.

The process was good, quick, and efficient for £8. I also liked that they accept credit card, which is always a plus in my book. This little store is now my go-to spot to pick up prescriptions, mainly because they 1. fill the prescription while you wait and 2. always have my medication in stock. Boots down the road isn't a bad option, but they don't tick these two boxes and for someone who is perpetually behind the eight ball, the speed and ease of Lloyds wins out. It also helps that the folks behind the counter are always helpful and friendly. Going to the pharmacy is an errand, not a chore and Lloyds makes that a reality.
