As a guest you have full access to the on-site hotel facilities. The pool, bar, shower, etc. you also have full access to the beautiful, immaculate facilities in the marina, bathrooms, showers, laundry, etc. we were greeted by, Kelly. She is a doll, really fun and sweet and she bought us a drink from the bar on arrival! The boat is beautiful, clean and spacious. The bed in the berth is really comfy. "Alexa" is on board as well as a charging station. There is stove, and dishes and cookware and the very important coffee making provisions! There were cold drinks and condiments in the cooler. The boat is climate controlled! (Weren't expecting that!) If that wasn't enough, our host, Jeff took is a boat captain and Kelly just got her captain's license! They took us out on our lodging accomodations to a sweet reef spot for some great snorkeling. Jeff snorkeled with us and showed us so large lobsters! We all saw a huge Jew Fish and many other fish. Jeff is very generous and very accomodating and goes out of his way to ensure you have a great time and that you have everything you need. Next time we go to Key West, we will definitely stay on his boat or... maybe his other bigger, 2 bedroom boat!! Thank you Jeff and Kelly for a superb experience!!!

I definitely understood that they were a small business and wanted to do the right thing and accept this, and hopefully we would be able to use it at a later date. However, we not are not in a position to make it to Florida and really do need out $600 back. I know that they are back in business and I know the tourism industry is bouncing back, so I would hope that they could accommodate this request. I have repeatedly emailed and called both Rebecca and Jeff and they have continued to not respond and are simply ignoring me. It is very frustrating to give a small business the benefit of the doubt and to not have this courtesy repaid. I would be wary about booking anything with them.

He took me, my brother, my husband Travis, and my sister n law Karen out for a 6-hour fishing trip, and it was hands-down the best charter we've ever been on. First off, he's the most reasonable captain out there -- seriously, we checked. Second, he put us right on the fish. Not "oh look, a little nibble" fish... I mean Cobia, Mutton Snapper, and Key West Mahi like he had them waiting for us with reservations. I even caught my first cobia -- 44 inches long -- and I'm still bragging about it. Captain Bryce cheered us on the whole time, helped with everything, and somehow managed to keep all of us untangled, baited, and reeling like we knew what we were doing. The man is a saint with a fishing rod. He's docked right outside Schooner Wharf Bar, which makes it dangerously convenient to celebrate afterwards. Bryce is a MUST-CALL. We're already planning to come back for a full-day trip because six hours wasn't enough for this level of awesome. Book him. Seriously. Your cooler, your photos, and your ego will thank you.

Captain Paul D'Antoni is the best! This guy can fish! Captain Paul runs a light tackle inshore…read moreboat out of Garrison Bite in Key West. His rig is a 25 foot center console with a new engine, clean, well maintained and safe. He was set up for any kind of fishing I might have wanted to do (except flats, as he doesn't run a flats boat). He had new Penn rods and reels and he had rigs for everything from heavy duty tuna, tarpon or shark fishing to light rigs for smaller snapper in shallower water. He had a live bait well that again was stocked with bait for everything from snapper to Tuna including a bunch of goggle eyes! I wanted to fish tarpon, as I had never caught one. When we started the tide was slack so we busted way out to 200 feet of water and looked for sailfish. The sails were not having it so we dropped deep on an airplane wreck and pulled up two fat AJs. The tide back inshore was turning so we headed back for the maincourse- the tarpon. I hooked and lost a tarpon in the first 30 seconds- I kid you not! 30 seconds after he positioned the boat with the other tarpon boats and started chumming I had a fish on and lost. What can I say, it was my first time.... Not to fear! He had several rods all rigged to go so he just handed me a second Penn conventional and a hunk of bait and within 3 minutes I had another fish on. This one I landed. Holy crap Tarpon can fight. In all I landed 7! And I hooked and fought one for 20 before I lost him for a total of 9 fish that I hooked. 9 tarpon in 3-4 hours! As estimated by Captain Paul (because by Florida law you can't pull the Tarpon outta the water) the smallest was 50lbs and the biggest was 70lbs- and for sure was a in the water measured 4'8". I'm sure the one I lost was 250lbs (HA! ;-) ) My left arm was completely blown out from fighting the fish, my back was sore, my triceps ached. Clearly I need to go to the gym more often if I am going to try for that many huge fish in a matter of hours. Capt. Paul was personable, professional and runs a great operation. He was a pleasure to chat with, and had a huge knowledge of the local fishing. You could tell from the radio chatter that the other charter captains like and respect him- they all wanted to know what and where he was fishing and what he was using. He was cool with my non-fishing wife coming along for the ride and when the fishing slacked off he agreed to run her all the way back into town to drop her so she could shop and than ran me out for more adventures. A lot of charter captains would not have wanted to waste the gas for that sort of a run.

We have charted many captains before, this was a first and a very poor fishing day. I also did not like the 15-20% tip your captain sign on the boat. You do the math on a $750 charter.
