They have collections from uncommon Australian and overseas based eyewear designers, so you will most likely walk out with eyewear that no one else in Sydney will have. You won't find Prada, Chanel or Gucci here. The staff there really make an effort to make sure you find the perfect pair and have a great sense of style! I was really please with the consolation manner. He checked my eyes thoroughly, explained the situation and recommending going to the hospital. In the hospital his diagnosis turned out to be accurate and helpful. Would definitely recommend going their for their glasses and eye checks, worth the money.

I informed the store and initially, they were helpful and suggested that I bring the glasses in to address the problem. I attended the store yesterday, where they replaced the rubbers on the arms but not the arms themselves. I don't know the reason, but the store informed me that my glasses arms were actually meant to be mismatched and I should just accept that that's how quirky glasses designers roll. This is the first time I've ever been gaslit by staff in a store as a paying customer. Now I'm in a position where I've spent nearly $700 on designer glasses with mismatched arms and no remedy available. Not happy.

Eyeballs Eyewear on Oxford Street in Paddington certainly capitalises on this obsession, as they stock some seriously stylish eyewear, and they cater to all our fashion obsessions as they sell both prescription glasses and sunglasses. All the higher end glasses shops are stocking Tom Ford at the moment and so they should, his sunglasses are amazing, some of the best designs I have ever seen. Another great brand Eyeballs are offering is Mykita who are a German brand providing extremely funky, Hi tech yet well made eyewear. They are probably not the cheapest in town but the help I am given to find just the right frames makes it more than worth it. I now let Riad suggest (rather than me wandering about) and the last few times I have always selected the first or second of his suggestions (and trust me, I try on a LOT of pairs!) - and no matter how long it takes, you never feel like a nuisance. I am also surprised that it can be a couple of years between visits and he remembers my name. I never go anywhere else.
