What I love about this school is its diversity. When you hear that US business schools are diverse, they truly already are. But LBS is one a whole different level. When they say diverse, almost every class has one nationality of different country. It is amazing to experience that and the exciting discussion coming out of this group. The school administrators are also very friendly and helpful. I think the school is located in one of the most expensive areas in London, and thus it is considerably expensive to have a campus right here. But still, they offer all necessary facilities including gyms to the students. Highly recommend a visit and exchange if possible!

Everyone knows that London Business School or LBS is the best business school in the world as far…read morethe rankings go and it is rated higher than Harvard or Stanford. It definitely is a dream school for thousands of aspiring corporates. The building is old school but has a modest charm about it, which is just what LBS is all about. When you go in you can see young men and women dressed in suits and walking around casually and you know that they are all going to be top notch corporates once they pass out! They are known to have some of the best conferences some of which are open to the general public as well (keep an eye on their website to find out more). Having said that LBS students are not all work because they have some great festivals and amazing parties (I have attended one of them). The Nash cafe inside LBS is really nice and cozy and less serious than the rest of the school where you can see these hardworking people unwind finally!

When contacted to get convinced to apply and advised them of the university's grades, I was given…read morehope that they would give opportunities to highly experienced applicants as well, and not just base their decisions on just marks, so, after many thoughts, I applied. Then, received the outcome and, regrettably, I would like just to say that I believe the only reason why I was "supported" to "try" applying was, as it potentially could have happened to many others, was to simply pay the £75 application fee. Convenient. As much as Bachelor's scores matter and show some level of knowledge, the true knowledge is not shown just through a piece of paper; therefore, I do feel my 11 years of professional experience (without the need of the piece of paper) have not been given the value they deserved. Perhaps someone with 0 experience in the real world but with some higher marks will be more suitable! I have worked in the financial environment for quite some time now and my journey will continue, progress and get where it needs to be with or without a Masters at your university or another. I have endured a lot more in my life and never given up. £75 would have not made me richer, hence the reason why I do not regret paying them. However, I do know deep down that it's just the strategy, as in any business, to get more applicants. All the best with your application process!

I have degrees from three US schools and came to KCL for a Ph.D. This is by far the worst run…read moreschool I have ever attended. As an organization, it is incompetent; they deliver a sub-standard educational experience. The staff goes on strike every year. It takes the administration 6 months to do something I can complete in an hour. They deliver fewer contact hours with professors than any other school I have attended. The only positive is that it is a cheap and easy place to get a degree in London. If you want a top tier educational experience, go to LSE or a school in the US. The university's staff and structure literally put more time into hindering any educational experience than trying to deliver a world-class experience. If there were a high school, I would disenroll my kids.

It is also a conference centre with catering available. I attended Webster Graduate School with a partial tuition and was very impressed. The staff took a great interest in my success and made me feel very welcome. I made some of the best friends of my life here and I have to say that I learned as much, if not more, from my classmates as I did from the lectures. The canteen had good food and at reasonable prices so staying on campus all day, there always was a good place to eat. The brasserie was added right before I graduated, but I've been back to visit and it is lovely! Really like it and the coffee is really well made. The student bar has really good prices, but I have to admit that I liked the old decor better than the new. From the conference centre standpoint, I organized several new student parties and they were very accommodating and the food was really good. When you think about university catering you usually don't think its as good as this!

I stayed at Regents University for one month in July. First of all, the dorm/hall style bathrooms…read morehad a horrible musty smell 24/7 and the toilets didn't flush. The showers were riddled with bugs, and often the controls did not work. There is no AC, which is common in a lot of the UK, but the rooms had no circulation or fans and were frankly miserable in July during the heat wave. On a weekend, a friend and I were headed out and we had a bottle of wine with some left to finish. The security guard, an older man, shamed us, and told us to throw the bottle out even though everything we were doing was legal and we were of age. He said to us "do not do that, throw it away and just enjoy life." Many times we were confronted by this man, told to go inside for an 11 PM curfew when it was only 10 PM. At least 7 times a fire alarm blared for no reason, with no explanation from staff, and about 3 of those times were around 4 AM. It is clear that Reid Hall at Regents University takes every opportunity to cut corners at the expense of the comfort and well-being of their residents.

I needed further skills on therapy and hypnotherapy for client work and chose to train online at the UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy due to the evidence-based approach. This training has given me more than I expected. The quality of teaching, tutoring and really just the content of the training is brilliant and truly - evidence-based! Mark has an amazing wealth of knowledge - I have often watched his lectures more than once to really catch all the little, valuable details on each topic. As a result of the training, I have been able to really step on a new career path in life with confidence!

The diploma in Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy, created and run by The UK College of Hypnosis…read moreand Hypnotherapy, is an evidence-based course, and is the only hypnotherapy course accredited by the prestigious British Psychological Society (and now also the Chinese Psychological Society). The diploma comprises of three stages, which together, cover a vast amount of very useable material. Additionally, the accompanying manuals are first class, and are both immensely informative and enjoyable to read. Therefore, as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, I highly recommend this course, because I know it will deeply enhance applied psychologists range of effective interventions across a wide variety of client issues. What is also important to hold in mind, is that this course is so well crafted, that students with no prior knowledge of psychology and/or therapy, can take this course with the confidence that they will be given all the information that is required to become, with practice, competent cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapists. Well done to Mark Davis and is team for all their hard work in developing and running this magnificent course.
