Brad saved the day again! I have a 13 inch 2010 MacBook Pro. Brad put in a 1 terabyte hard drive for me two years ago after the geniuses told me a needed a new computer. A year later it was running slow again so I (Well, my dad actually) put in 16 ram. This year it was getting really hot while running, and crashing when disconnected from the power source for longer then a few seconds. I had such a great experience, I had to leave a review. The trackpad on my MacBook was damaged in shipping and I needed to get it fixed. Like most people, I couldn't be without my laptop for a long period of time since I use it for work, etc. Brad ordered the part for me and had it shipped overnight. I was going out of town the following day at 10am and he assured me that it would be done by then. In addition, we determined that my hard drive was on it's way to deaths door (it was moaning and groaning) so he gave me a GREAT DEAL on a new 1 TB HD and had all my data transferred over and the new trackpad installed by 10am the next day (I also had him put in a new battery). I have a 4 year old MacBook Pro which the lid hinges needed replacing. I took it to a closer pc repair shop who said they could fix it the same day. Two days later, they hadn't done a thing and said they were having a problem finding the part. I called Apple Customer Care and after nearly an hour of wait time and being switched to different departments, I was told I must purchase a whole new screen...Ridiculous!! Coincidently, that very weekend, my hard drive went out. I called Brad and he told me to bring it right over. He called me back within a couple of hours and had confirmed that the hard drive needed to be replaced and he could do it and have it done by next day. He also had the parts to replace the hinges. All work was done the next day and my computer is as good as new! He's very knowledgable, courteous and repaired promptly at fair prices. Took my macbook in for a screen replacement and new trackpad. Went back to get it after a week and the trackpad wasn't even fixed. Let him hang onto it for a few days to replace the trackpad, then was called and told that my hard drive was about to die and I needed it replaced NOW- computer does run faster, but I was left wondering why he didn't see that the first time he opened my computer up. Screen replacement job does not look professional- dried glue around the sides and dust and glue behind my screen are driving me crazy! I hate writing bad reviews, but I had to let people know about my bad experience here. The only reason I'm giving 2 instead of 1 is because the prices were very reasonable. Still, I would have paid more for a more professional service. read more

He came to my house open my computer and said Yes it's the logic board I can't repair it. Charge me $ 75.00 to tell me what I already knew. Glad I made the decision to take my laptop to Brad! My macbook was only 3 years old when the track pad went out. Having only a few months left on my warranty I took my laptop to Apple. After having my computer for 4 days they call me to say that there is some signs of rust and that the warranty is void. But............For only $750 they will replace anything that has any signs of rust. What a JOKE! In no way has there ever been a water or even a liquid incident with my laptop. My 4 year old 27" Mac died, and it's not something I can do without so I immediately did a hunt for help here on Yelp, another review site and our neighborhood site to find out who was knowledgeable and reliable to fix it "in a hurry." MacNet was the name that kept popping up, so I called and Brad said we should bring it in to him and he'd be able to get back to me quickly with a diagnosis. He called with the bad news within a couple hours of dropping the computer off; it needed a new hard drive and it was infected with malware. He was able to backup all my data (and that was a LOT), clean it of malware and install a new 2 Tb hard drive and fix a few other things he found. He restored all my data (miracle man!!!!) which was my biggest concern, had downloaded an anti-malware app for me and now my computer is ticking along better than new. After we brought it back home, I had a question or three, called him and he was kind enough to return my calls promptly and answer my questions. It's wonderful knowing there is a technician out there who really knows what he is doing, and who cares about doing a quality job, and is patient enough to answer all my questions. Ok so took my mac here about a year ago. The screen was blank, not turning on but keys lighting up. When I got there of course it decided to turn on finally. But he offered to keep it and check it out to see why this was happening. I get a call and he goes over a couple issues but says It was running super slow and needed a new hard drive asap. So I decided to go ahead and replace it. Big waste of money!! In replacing, he wiped out my office programs I didn't have the product key to so I couldn't and still can't use them. Office is hundreds of dollars!! He kept my old hard drive which I understand he can recycle them or whatever but I was a bit uncomfortable with that. And under a year later, my computer is running slower than ever!! Nothing was changed besides my office being wiped out and loosing over $400!! Five Stars! My experience with Brad was great. It wasn't perfect for my computer but he took great attention to ensuring my satisfaction. 2 months ago Brad diagnosed my macbook pro needing a new hard drive and I decided to put a battery in it as well since he'd already be inside of it. After the repair, the computer worked great but would shut down off at 67% battery life remaining. I took it back to him and he suggested we try to reboot with no transferred data from the old hard drive. It still didn't help. He then had a new battery shipped in and to replace the other "new" battery within a couple days. My macbook is now working great as expected now with zero issues since. I'm glad he stands by his work and was willing to take care of the problem promptly. I will use him again when an issue comes up with any mac of mine! read more

I have dealt with other Mac repair places and they are nothing compared to Brad! Efficient is the best word to describe the way he runs his business. I am a graphic designer so it was hard to think of not having my computer. (a previous Mac Repair Shop had my computer for two months!) I knew that my hard drive was going bad so I called Brad. After the Apple store dropped the ball for 4 days, on transferring my data from my old Mac to the new one, Apple told me they couldn't do it and I needed to take it to a third party. Great experience! I was near tears when my 5 year old MacBook Pro got water damage and the keyboard stopped responding! I immediately looked online for immediate fixes and was suggested to turn off my laptop in fear the hard drive or logic board would be next! I then made and appointment and I took it to the Apple Store "Genius Bar" the following day. To my surprise I got no help with my situation they wouldn't even open it up to check for what was damaged by the water and told me there is "protocol" regarding fixes for water damage issues $750 flat rate! I was desperate and found Brad! Awesome guy! Told me to take my laptop over to him immediately to disconnect the battery before electrolysis, he was very knowledgeable (as I am not very tech-savvy) and explained everything very well. He sensed I was worried about my hard drive and if anything else was damaged inside my Mac. I left my laptop with him to open up and check the parts he dried up the inside and called me back on a very timely manner. He explained that my hard drive was getting old and it would be a good ideas to replace it soon but did not force me to change it out immediately as I was on a budget and only wanted to fix what was immediately necessary to get my laptop back up and running. Fortunately only my top case needed new parts, Brad ordered them on Monday and I got my laptop back Tuesday afternoon! Very satisfied! He gave me a great deal too considering his labor! Was super on top of everything. Even though he was slammed, he met all quoted timeframes, updating me when anything different came up and still had my laptop ready on the early side even though it had been a bigger job than originally expected. Definitely cost a chunk of change but nothing unfair on Brad's side. Really fair cost of labor and the parts so I blame Apple mostly for that. Most importantly, my macbook was almost dead upon arrival and $400 later it is like brand new, I can actually have multiple webpages and applications open and meat deadlines before next year. Totally would recommend to average computer user who isn't totally uneducated but also not an expert and just doesn't want to get ripped off.... Oh also!
