Unprofessional. Working with an inexperienced lawyer who did not disclose additional fees that would be required prior to payment. Used the verbiage "out the door" referring to cost which implies no additional fees would come up. This is the only business or "law office" north of 8 mile with bulletproof windows and video cameras because they screw all their customers and fear those same customers after they screw them over. Stay far away from these crooks on Garfield in Clinton Twp. Vince Manzella just wants your money and he'll put his wife and mother on the corner to make a dollar. Hire anyone else for legal services, otherwise you'll be filing a complaint with the American Bar Association like I did. I fired Vince Manzella in court and went to the office in the morning for a full refund as the bulletproof windows didn't stop me. All they're missing is a bulletproof tunnel going to their cars out in the parking lot. So they'll tell you whatever it takes for you to hire them, take your money, and screw you to build this bulletproof tunnel. That's how this POS "law office" operates. Anyone giving this "law office" anything more than a 1 star review is either a friend or relative of theirs. Any review with 5 stars is fake. Don't be fooled. The lawyer we dealt with at this firm, Nicholas J Bachand, was a complete waste of a nearly a thousand dollars. He accomplished nothing but the draining our bank account. We were referred to him by the Macomb County Bar association, big mistake. Seems that they only give out the name of somebody near you, not a recommendation. We could have easily made a better choice by picking somebody at random out of the phone book. When I first met with him during the initial free consult I thought he seemed like a real dick. My wife said that is what we need. The problem is we thought he would be an asshole to person we were in a legal dispute with, not to us. Wrong again Bob. First thing he did was print up a Power of Attorney form letter, and charged us a $500 retainer for doing that. He claimed he had trouble getting in touch with the party we had a dispute with, again another load of baloney. I say this because once I decided to take matters into my own hands I had ZERO trouble getting in touch with them. He charged us for what he said was an attempt to negotiate a lower settlement. His negotiation amounted to "my client is willing pay this". That isn't a negotiation, that's being a messenger boy, an extremely expensive crappy one. He called after we cut contact with him because we decided to take matters in our own hands due to his terrible attitude and laziness. I told him he was fired, and lo and behold he charged us to fire him. Unless you like squandering money and not getting any tangible results that you could have gotten for the price of a Legal Zoom Legal Form Letter, I would hardily not recommend him, EVER. Vince Manzella is a great attorney and his entire staff is excellent to work with. I have recently used his office fot a matter in clinton twp. And the results were outstanding! Vince sent one of his associates Kyle Kole and honestly this attorney rocked the courtroom. This law office is not the cheapest in town but one of the best. I would give it a 0 star if I could. I called there last week to get some legal advise. The woman who answered the phone didnt seem to know what she was talking about and had to put me on hold a couple times to ask the lawyer questions, which was fine. Better yo get the right info. She then quoted me a price of $20/per person to have someone served. So when I went to the court to follow papers and told them I would have lucido serve them because they were cheaper. When I got to lucido, the woman, who had answered the phone acted like it was a bother to even speak with me, told me the fee was more than double what she quoted me on the phone. When I pressed her, she denied telling me that and suggested I go back to the court which was cheaper. Yeah, of course I did, but thanks for nothing. Had I known the correct price, I would have had the court serve the papers instead of spending my whole afternoon running around wasting prescious time, energy and gas!!!
