Normally I do spend most of the flight working but since one is not allowed to use the computer at take-off and landing I usually want something to read and I do then most of the time stop by Pocket Shop. They have a very good selection of English language books so easy to find something good. Price level is fairly decent as well - more expensive to buying online but still not worse than the regular book stores and that is actually rather uncommon for airports so I am a fan!

A cool and inspirational design shop in the heart of Uppsala…read more Urban Collection sells stylish items from e.g. Hay, Nicolas Vahé and Tom Dixon. The store is super nice looking, and you can even improve your shopping experience with a fresh cup of coffee - made with their own espresso machine! The staff is as cool as the shop itself, which unfortunately sometimes means ignoring the customers. Nevertheless, the atmosphere there is lovely, the layout of the shop is beautiful and the items sold are very nice. If you are not able to go to Urban Collection by person, you still have a chance to do it virtually: their webstore! No coffee, but the same beautiful items to buy.
