Good drinks and food is available right next door. Also have cocktails in cans. Plenty of parking.

Well, it was my first time there. We thought it wasn't that bad at all. The nice part is they serve 5 ounce 12 ounce and 16 ounce so if you just want to try before you buy, rather than a taste, I guess, they'll probably give you a taste, but I didn't ask. They have some low ABV, which I appreciate it because I don't want to have too much alcohol when it's too hot out. Definitely will be back to give them another try. Service was prompt and the ambience was very much like a traditional brewery.

5 stars for BYOFOOD and bc you do not have to order from next door I brought my own food from another suburban patron. I ate with my kids and also saw kids much younger whom were daycare/preK age in the resto. I initially was unsure if i could even bring kids (under 21y.o.). I brought my H.S. Kids in tow while we ate and drank the HoneyBear x3 and the hubster had chaLk Eater + HeadRush. (Kinda floral in taste) Honey Bear is a Belgian Tripel it has a had a headiness but not like St.Bernadus (abt 12/ quadrupel) and just a slight bitter after taste. Nothing bad. Truly I had three on this October night that was chilly but endured the cold for the enjoyment of being out with family and not having to cook and clean at home! Macushla is truly for the time to spend with your sweetheart/Darling! And in these Covid times if I have to be with my household let it be with those close to my heart!

This is a really nice place to spend time whether your family. Yes, it is right - this is a family place even it's a brewery. They have a bike parking, a lot of space and patio outside. I saw there parents with infants. Great list of beers but not sure about the food. I guess, you can order from a place next door. Also they do accept Apple Pay. Liked this place really much.

This is a great brewery. The tasting room is nicely designed, spare and modern. On nice days it opens up to the outdoor garden. Very cool. The beers are all quite tasty. Om my recent visit has and Oktoberfest and a DIPA. Bout really good. You can join their community and for what is a reasonable fee get two crowlers a month. It's a deal! No food here on site but they share a parking lot with Hackney's and you can get to go delivered. I'm not from the North Shore, so all y'all who were born eating at Hackney's I never have. On my recent visit to Macushla we ordered food and Hackney's delivered not in styrofoam contents but on real plates! That was awesome. And the patty melt was delicious.

Cool little tucked in spot right next to Hackneys. Who would have thought a brewery would be in Glenview! Definitely a fun place to hang out at if you're winding down from a big family get together from Hackney's! Kid and pet friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to others and will most likely be back!

Macushla is a great hidden brewery in the Glenview area along Lake and Waukegan. It is right by Hackneys and serve burgers and appetitzers as well. Had a flight of 5 oz beers for 12 dollars, which is a great deal to try a variety of beers. They brew all their beers from IPAs to Stouts. Was a big fan of Honey Bear, Say Uncle, Blackbird, and Monarch. Service was fast and prompt. Friendly bartender. It has a bar area and an outdoor patio for outdoor seating during the summer. Appetizers and meals are good as expected since they come straight from Hackneys. A lot of parking and really accessible for all people. Definitely a good place to hangout and catch up with friends in the North Shore area!

I'm a big fan! Only open since September they seemed to have come ready to bring it with a wide selection of tasty craft beer. I loved their New England IPA and sampled a few other things as well. Mike, the owner, works behind the bar and was a gracious host pouring samples while answering questions. Nice guy who deserves your support! And you'll love the beer! Only drawback is that it's not the easiest place to find. There are no signs outside the entrance (look for the empty kegs) and the shared parking lot can be confusing. But it's worth finding!

Met my brothers here for a beer last night. Great atmosphere and nice crowd. Staff was on top of everything, service was great. Overall a good beer selection. Super Lou is definitely my favorite. It had a nice hop to it, with just the right amount of bitterness. Also tried Monarch, My Uncle and Honey Bee. Ordered the onion brick and a bleu cheeseburger. Great amount of cheese on the burger. Nice flavor on the rye bread as well. Would recommend this combo. Onion brick was ok, batter is average tasting only.

Une Annee is one of the reasons to go to this pretty boring looking suburb. Hit up the bar for some cold ones plus on site made food. The prices aren't bad for craft beers and kitchens. A pretty impressive looking building. It's big and can fit hundreds. This is like a massive garage with a bar and a kitchen. First though it's a brewery. It's about $6 a pint. The one I liked the most was the Twist Of Wit. It's a wheat beer with Cara Cara oranges, coriander, and Meyer lemon. Tasted fruity but not too much. Also we got some food, which was actually good for a brewery. Vegan options are limited but there's a few. It's $6 for the Veggie Chili. This is vegan without the sour cream sauce. Also there's barbecue. There's pork belly and that kind of stuff. Beers are the best things to get here. It also has food from an on site kitchen. There's meaty options like pork and there's chili for vegetarians.

I did like the sour kriek, though the Fresh IPA was so good that we bought a 4-pack to take home. Service was pleasant and efficient, and there is also a spacious outdoor patio.

I loved the Detroit style pizza because of the crunchy bits of the edge pieces. While the edges were really crisp, the dough was moist and had a nice chew. The bacon jam was unique as well as the dollop of Ricotta on top. I liked the creamy texture of the ricotta on top. The other pizza that stood out was the New York Style white Pie. Simple, tasty and thinly crusted. It had a nice light garlicy taste with shredded basil on top of the mozzarella. We were celebrating my birthday and had a large party of 17. We stuck around for the Trivia Night which was a fun activity for the adults. I really liked the atmosphere-- a slew of different flavors of hard ciders, beer, wine to drink, talk with friends, and engage in a collaborative activity. I would definitely want to come back. The staff was friendly. I got to spin the wheel for my birthday and won a free beer. The server gave me a sample of the pickled pear hard cider before committing to a whole glass. I usually don't drink alcohol, but I enjoyed it. It felt appropriate to kick off the summer with this fruity beverage!

I munched on some turnbuckle pretzels, fried buffalo bites and cauli wings- all were pretty good! A few days later we sold out with a 300 person event, although honestly we could have fit way more in the space because there was plenty of room to move around. The band Go Ask Your Mum was playing lots of fun 80s and 90s hits, there was a buffet of the food we had tried a few days beforehand and the bar was busy. I opted for wine, which was good. The acoustics here aren't great, which i noticed during the meeting and during the event. The band was fun to listen to, but i could hardly hear anyone i was speaking to.
