I've been here half a dozen times with friends and family. The food and service have always been fantastic. I was happy my queso didn't congeal after a couple of chips unlike another restaurant near me. My husband judges a restaurant by their cheese enchiladas. This is a tip he picked up from friend who is in the restaurant business. Apparently, the cheese enchilada is an easy dish to make but, can easily be fumbled. Mad Mexican did not fumble the cheese enchiladas. My son had the spicy shrimp tacos which he enjoyed. I really hope this place sticks around because we love it. read more

Phenomenal! They have a small bar with three TVs in that area, which is where we sat. Ezekiel was our bartender, he provided amazing service being friendly, speedy and attentive. We had top shelf margs they are made from fresh ingredients not using sweet & sour, they were perfect! We had the enchilada trio for dinner and it was also perfect, probably the best enchiladas I've had. The food came out so quickly as well! This place is tucked into a strip center so keep your eyes peeled for it. The outside doesn't look like much but it's transformed inside to a Mexican villa surprise. We loved the decor. The service was good and we never really needed anything because they checked on us often. The queso was good and I really liked my brisket combo plate. Me and my husband came here on a Tuesday evening for dinner. It was around 5pm and it was pretty quiet. We were greeted and sat promptly and every single person that worked there did a great job. We may have had 3 people checking in on us for water, food and drinks. We had the mini chimichangas to start which were delicious and we both had the fluffy tacos as our main. I had the chicken fajita and the asada, both were so good. My husband had the brisket and the steak fajita he loved his also. The beans and rice also had great flavor plus they brought out complimentary chips and salsa which tasted great. I really wanted to like this place, and I'll start by saying it's not horrible. I had too many issues to give more than three stars, though. I ordered the burrito chihuahua, and it came without the Crema Mexicana. It had very little meat (pastor), to the point where I wondered if they forgot to put it in all together. It was honestly primarily rice and cheese. The flavor was somewhat bland due to the lack of meat/crema. I smothered it in salsa to make it better, the salsa was very good. For over $16 I feel it should've come with rice and beans as well. My wife got the Platillo Monterrey and liked it, i tried the sauces they were good. The chili cheese fries were very soft, and I'm pretty sure they were frozen packaged fries. If it's not something you do well I'd leave it off the menu. They were lacking in toppings overall with many bare and soft fries. Not very good. I'll probably try this place again. I'm sure it's good when it's good, but overall I was very disappointed. I feel the total cost should've been way less for the quality and quantity of the food. read more

Never knew about this place and went on a Yelp recommendation. Service was quick and servers were polite and prompt with serving food and taking order. Seating is limited as this is a smaller restaurant. If the sun is setting, do not sit next to the windows. It is quite hot and you are in direct sun even with the shades. The menu stated my mojito would be $8.50 and it was $14.50. On the ticket it was listed as a large mojito yet I was not asked for size. Additionally there was quite a bit of ice. It was good but not worth the price. Will not order that again. Mad Tacos with fajita meat were delicious and there was a lot of steak. My husband commented on the avocado cream sauce. He liked it a lot Chicken enchiladas with verde sauce were also good and very flavorful. Buracha beans were good and so was the rice. The churros were delicious as was the ice cream. It tasted like true vanilla bean and it was very frozen. Churros had a raspberry sauce that was also good. Came here for an early Saturday dinner with one of my boys. I like the atmosphere of the place. Nice wood, classic Mexican decor. We sat in a booth in the far back right side. I will say it was a bit dark and crampy being over there but not a huge thing. The chips and salsa off the bar were a bit disappointing. The salsa is very watery and has no kick. I ordered fajitas - the menu doesn't give the option but I got steak and chicken. The steak had a great flavor and was a decently easy bite. The chicken however was very bland. My son got the adult quesadilla plate with steak. The quesadilla was nothing overall special but it was good as the steak has a lot of flavor itself. I did grab a strawberry (on the rocks) margarita and I'll say that was really good. Service was good, we got checked in on a few times. Overall? Just another Tex Mex place..... read more

This place is small, but it's worth checking out. They have many items on their menu as well as monthly specials with iced tea for only $10 advertised on the tables. We had some queso with our complimentary chips, and it was good and a pretty decent size to share. For lunch, I had the puff taco with carne asada and it was warm and flavorful and I kinda regretted only getting one. My son ordered the MAD nacho salad and it was huge! We both left here stuffed! Since it was lunch time on a Thursday, it seemed like there was only one server helping all the tables, but she was great! She constantly checked on us and was just so nice. I rarely push out a 5 stars review but Mad Mexican Grill certainly deserves this one tonight.Family run located in strip center sliced between Kroger and Sherwin Wilpliams in Keller it's easy to miss. Even though it's small there is good seating for dining and bar area . Diana had the chicken soup, I went with the Brisket Torta we were served chips and salsa to start out with Salsa was on point chips were thick and crispy a good start.Our drinks the Cadillac Margarita and Dos XX L Margarita was perfect with an potent. My Brisket torta was the best torta I've had period the meat was moist and tender every bite was pure throat ecstacy the bolillo bread was soo good soft sweet blended so well with the Brisket which was served with crinkle cut fries. Diana had to help me finish as I needed room for dessert. We choose the churros OMG so good again best I've had in this area hands down served piping hot with vanilla ice creme and a Carmel filling talk about warm and fuzzy feelings what a finish. New clean, fresh-looking establishment. I really doesn't look like any other Mexican Restaurant, which is fitting because it isn't. I was seated quickly, which was promptly followed by some really good Chips & Salsa. Chips were fresh, warm, and were thick enough that you can dip without worrying about them breaking. But then a small problem arose - would you like some Spicy Salsa also? Sure. Now I have a problem. The regular Salsa was really good. I actually had no desire for anything else. But then the Spicy Salsa shows up. It was excellent. After several chips I went back to the regular. Next thing I know I'm out of chips, out of both Salsas, and have no idea which one I like the best, and my food is still coming. If you are weak minded, save yourself the anguish and just get one or the other. I had the Burrito Chihuahua - Brisket. It's big, but I couldn't stop eating it - so no to-go box for me. Moderate size eating area (with wicker like chandeliers) & bar area (sports bar vibe) that is open seating. Food is Tex Mex style with good chips and salsa (if you like spicy, ask to try their spicy salsa) and good house margaritas-- slightly but not overly sweet. Confession - Pictures shown will give away that we started eating before we remembered to take a picture. ‍ None the less, the food is large portions (my husband I could have shared) and really great flavor.
