Under the current principal's leadership (Rachel Owens), my daughter was physically assaulted by two boys right on the playground, and nobody did anything--absolutely no one! The punishment that followed--being called "school beauticians"--was totally ridiculous. It felt like a made-up joke they used only to protect those two boys and keep their parents quiet. This whole school feels rotten inside. They are losing students faster than they can enroll new ones. It's obvious the staff and certain parent groups only care about each other; if you aren't part of that inner clique, your kid will be treated like garbage. Plus, most teachers are seriously unqualified--they don't seem to know how to teach or what a proper curriculum even is. Even the principle is clueless. My daughter was achieving straight A's in her fourth-grade class, yet now she knows less than when she started in August 2025. I have to hire a private tutor this summer just so we can get her caught up. I would avoid this school like the plague. The buildings are old and falling apart. Also, if you or your child use a wheelchair or have any mobility issues, be warned: some of their classrooms are upstairs, meaning you have to climb stairs. Just be aware of that. You have been warned, Crossroads. Shame on you. This school which is really a terrible "day care center" will undoubtedly be facing legal action in the future. Look elsewhere.
