If you have to recycle in that area, I say you go here, cause other places want you to just give them your recycle, ot they are total jerks(a dog named family comes to mind). Check the website: You might be surprised at what you can drop off. Fluorescent lightbulbs, clothing, cooking oil, microwave ovens, and VHS tapes are less common recyclables the center takes. Two very common materials not accepted: styrofoam and plastic bags. Recycle Works has minimal charges for small appliances, electronics, and other items. However, I've left those items and fees weren't collected. The center accepts hazardous waste on scheduled days throughout the year. Check the website for dates and acceptable materials.

We have six, three story, apartment buildings with trash cans designated on each floor and recycling bins in the garage. This company has been so reliable and the men appear to be very hard, dependable workers. They also clean and sanitize our trash cans periodically and are excited to provide that service. Today for the first time ever, our condo management sponsored a shredding service through Always Green. They set up on time and we were not only encouraged to bring any documents that needed shredding, but we could actually watch them being shredded on a small TV screen on their truck. I questioned the weight they had a guy go back and looked at the pile and he said he put it in a scale and showed me a pic that was only I think 158 pounds and said I got a deal I know that I had 400 plus pounds but they already dumped it off the skid so I was screwed so buyer beware you would probably be better off taking your scrap someplace else. I had a few items that we didn't need for our new place and I was able to call and get a pickup scheduled the next time we had our regularly scheduled trash pickup! We had everything outside ready to go and they carried it up the stairs to haul away to be reconditioned for families who need it.
