My favorite part about this place is the inside of the barn which was magically transformed into the perfect setting for the reception. Most guests wouldn't know this, but the barn has really cool rooms for the bridal party and groomsmen to get ready/hang out in. The girls' space is sweet and has room for ladies to gather, relax, and primp. The guys' space is more about keeping the guys busy and has a foosball table! We visited six wedding sites and knew the minute we walked up the driveway that "this was the place" for us. The Brown's property allowed us the many little locations we wanted for our very personal and detailed celebration. Our loose theme was "woodland bohemian," incorporating live music and a family-style summer supper, served outside, then dancing in the barn afterwards. Pam graciously answered our questions through the process via phone and email and we visited a few times before setup to take inventories of the many items they provide, as well as measurements for our decor. -- This place is really unique in that, along with the rental fee, which is in line or below other venues, the Browns' offer their clients tables, chairs, dozens of mason jars, candle stands, urns, chalk boards, and more to use as you wish. We decided to use their chairs for our ceremony by the arbor and rented wood chairs for our dinner tables, which worked well. We used their tables and rented table clothes, which also saved us money. The grounds are wonderful and we found that having the enormous lawn with games for the few kids who attended was fantastic and allowed their parents to really enjoy themselves. Pam Brown was on hand throughout the evening and worked as hard as anyone there - it was great to have her nearby to let us know where things went during cleanup and to help things along. Our wedding celebration is something we will never, ever forget because of the special unique setting and amenities of On River's Edge.

She went above and beyond anything that I could have ever imagined. My cousin got married over the weekend and I was asked to help set up and keep things running along (like a wedding coordinator). Raina was 110% hands on to help me ensure the wedding was exactly the way my cousin envisioned and she made my job run so smooth. The venue itself is gorgeous and the layout is very unique. I loved the simplicity of it which really allowed the beauty to shine. But what makes them stand out compared to any other place I have been to was Raina. She is very kind and helpful but has just the right touch to keep things on track without overstepping her place. I think this is a must with anything in the wedding industry and she nailed it! This sounds super cheesy, but she really was like the fairy-godmother in the background that made my cousin the princess on her special day. I don't want anyone to overlook the service you will get from this venue so even though I wasn't the bride, I feel it is important to share my review and experience. I attended Mont Lamm for one of their hosted Farm to Table events. I have never ever been to an…read moreevent like this before and I must say it was incredible for my first time. The theme for this Farm to Table Event was surf and turk, and there was a seed swap. HOW COOL IS A SEED SWAP! I brought wildflower seeds from the gorge and was pretty darn proud of myself. Let's talk first about the venue. Mont Lamm is an absolutely gorgeous property in the outskirts with amazing farm land and incredible views of the countryside. I dressed up, brought my bottle of wine and a bunch of lilies and truly experience a night out on a Sunday. The grounds are perfectly landscaped and glorious and there is a wood gazebo with intricate details. Then you go inside the barn....and the entire place is lit up with lights. My face was shocked wide eyed and mesmerized by the amount of lighting in this place. Absolutely stunning! Everyone sat in farm style seating and I had met some great people in the seats next to me. We started our evening with a Bees Knees cocktail that I slurped down and was so tasty I wanted another immediately. Shannon then introduced Chef LJ and the story behind farm to table and why they put on the events. Using local farms (and seafood from the nearest freshest place I'm sure) and come up with intricate dishes that compliment each other, for - Four. Solid. Courses. Courses ranged from Salmon on a Rosemary Shortbread, to Sous Vide Steak, Oysters, a delicious Crab dish, and the best tasting dessert with chocolate, cream, and amazingness all in one little dish. Each course paired with an alcoholic beverage and that was fancy as all hell there. What I also enjoyed was the program. Each course was introduced by the chef and in between there was live music by an amazing musician, vendors that spoke about their distillery and herbs, stories about farming, and then the hosts sang and it brought me to tears. UGH. I am so in love with our community and it's vibrancy and am so proud to have been a part of such an amazing event. The next one is in June and I cannot wait.

We see the signage with the rules, no directions. So we see people walking up the road, so we assume that's what we should do too. We walk and walk, looking at trees, never seeing a single employee. I finally see another family and ask them the process of reserving a tree. They said they also have no clue and were also put off to see zero employees out to help. Needless to say we left without reserving a tree. I completely understand if it's a small family run business, but at a minimum maybe have some signage out to let people know where to go to get tags. Maybe some more detailed info on your website.

As with most conference centers, there's a large dining area and meeting rooms of various sizes. There are a blend of 2-person private rooms and large rooms for 4-people. It's right on the lake with access to kayaks and onsite there's basketball and volleyball courts. The dining area has windows looking out onto the Lake, and I've never had a bad meal there. The bookstore/gift shop has a small espresso counter inside where you can order your fancy coffees if you'd like. Otherwise, there's brewed coffee and tea around the clock in the dining area. Be forewarned - you will get bug bites so be smart and wear lots of repellant.
