We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in one of the junior suites. The hotel is located directly…read morenext door to one of the main gondolas which connected us to a variety of ski areas, so very convenient. The main centre is just under 10 minutes' walk away which means it's nice and quiet in the evening as well. Our bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was amazing, just what you need after a long day skiing! Breakfast was delicious - lots of fresh cheese, meats, cakes, yoghurt, and I believe all the food is sourced locally. We enjoyed a nice glass of wine in the relaxing, alpine style bar before heading out to dinner most evenings; and on one of the nights the owners even invited all of the guests to join them for complimentary Prosecco and snacks - very welcoming indeed! To top things off I had one of the best massages I've ever had in the hotel spa! All in all we really enjoyed our experience here. It doesn't feel like a party place so perhaps not the right hotel for a big group, but for a couple, or a family, it's ideal.

Out of all the ski resorts I've tried in Italian Alps, so far Madonna di Campiglio tops everything…read moreelse for an intermediate snowboarder like myself! Breathtaking view with long gorgeous pistes that are catered mostly to intermediate skiers made this my favorite ski resort. The spectacular panoramic view of the Alps exceeds Obereggen and Alta Badia by far, it's hands down the best scenic resort. It's probably one of the most popular ski destination with the possible celebrity sightings such as F.Alonso, Massa, Valentino Rossi who are some of the regulars. With 19 lifts (5 gondolas, 12 chair lifts, 2 surface lifts) the resort offers skiers an incredible 1000 metres (3281 feet) of vertical descent and has 35 pistes with a total length of 60 kilometers. I snowboarded here during the week of Xmas from Dec.23 to Dec. 28 and I cannot ask for any better time to come here..... the pistes were almost empty!!! Since most people prefer to stay home with their family during the Xmas week, we got such an amazing deal for 4 nights stay with 4 days ski pass, breakfast, and 3 course dinner for only 420 euro from a nearby hotel (Hotel Canada)!! However, starting the 28th the pistes were getting crowded and the price hiked. I would definitely go back again...... I can't wait!!!!

We spent New Years weekend here. Ive been to Aspen, Vail and Park city and this is hands down one…read moreof the best. The Fiat Chalet is so much fun and the views are breathtaking. of snow (least in, over 20yrs!)meant skiing wasn't all we'd hoped but the food, shops, and entertainment ensured we had a ton of other stuff to do. If you go, be sure to order the hot chocolate while at the chalet. It's like nothing I've ever had! So good.1

I guess I would rate the quality Of the room a little less…read morethan five but with such a good experience, how could I not give these wonderful people 5? I shopped around after the Giro d'italia cycling race I was covering came through town thinking an affordable (to me and my journo budget) rate would be too much to bear but luckily I found this gem! Upon first glance, you would really think it would have been a crazy rate but it was completely affordable to me. The wifi is good, the parking is plentiful and easy and the manager and staff were very nice to me. I worked late (until 4am) slept in and missed their regular breakfast hours. The manager (I forgot her name...beautiful woman...with the glasses) assured me it was no problem at all. She found a quaint little spot in the lobby and made me a cappuccino while she had some food brought out. Top marks from me on service and felt like I was being cared for. Prego Obersoler!!
