The store is bigger and you can see the inventory better. They have common Pops, Chase Pops, and Vaulted ones. Need to sell your Pop? They accept consignments, and also accept Apple Pay. Thank you for bringing good memories back from being a kid again. For me it's always exciting to walk into a game/card/hobby shop & see all the cool things from my favorite shows, & most importantly great customer service to assist me with questions about stock and other products. A lot of store clerks sometimes scoff at like people who aren't as knowledgeable but thank you for being kind. There's quite a lot of stock of Star Wars, SuperHeroes, & animated characters as well! They have some pretty cool limited edition ones that tend to be sold out of many places like All Might(Boku no Hero), League of Legends, & some pretty cools ones! Pretty hard to find the location. Located in a housing/townhouse complex?? So pretty hard to find parking since I think we parked in guest parking where it specifically said not for shopping parking. Pretty cool store to browse for funko pops. They did not have a lot of the pops I was looking for, but clerk did say we could go online to find them. But I specially came here from the Bay area to find the pops they advertise on their instagram. Did go away with some good ones, but a little disappointed. read more

Tip: It's located in City Plaza upstairs above Tea Station Got a chance to take a look during their grand opening yesterday and I'm pleasantly surprised! They had a huge selection of old and new Funko POPs as well some rare retired and exclusive ones. I'm a big Dorbz fan, so I'm glad to see that they had a wall of Dorbz with some rare exclusive Dorbz too. They told me any news or new releases that they'll stock will be updated on their Instagram page @madpoppin They had their online store up awhile ago and I can tell it was packaged by someone who knows how to care for the box condition. I'd prefer coming into the store to browse and chat with the friendly staff and owners though! They mentioned a few new things coming soon to the store like consignment, weekend events, trading, gatherings, etc. Prices are great and the location is really convenient East of the 605 freeway. Came in just to check out their Pop collection and I must say, they have a great variety of Pops for such a small hidden shop on the 2nd floor! Here's the layout when u walk in... - Wall on the right had a variety of exclusive Pops from different retailers (Walgreens, Walmart, Barnes and nobles, etc), and some summer convention pops. There were also just random cool and interesting finds (for example there was a Pop Asia Aswang. (I thought it was funny to see that because I'm Filipino and Aswang is like a mystical creature in the Phillipines). Expect the prices to vary on this side from around (~15-50). - Wall on left and middle aisle were more of the newer Pops. These were all set at around $10. -The glass case by the register have a few chase pops. -The back wall behind the register had a great variety of rare finds (Freddy funko variations, glow in the dark White Ranger, Conan Spider-Man, etc). Expect the prices to be semi expensive (~100-200) to super expensive (~300-600). The store has a Instagram page and website but I myself like to hunt for Pops at stores. I was lucky to have walked in and snag a Disney Parks Exclusive Abominable Snowman that they just got in! Very happy about that since Downtown Disney was out of them! Besides the hard to find location, overall it's a great little shop with variety and good loud music to keep u entertained. read more

This is my second time at this store and this time i was pretty impressed with their selection. I walked out with an NWO Hulk Hogan which I didn't expect to find but they have a lot of rare stuff that comes in like Freddy Funkos and Rey Mysterios you name it! Christina was very helpful and interested in getting to know her customers. The prices are also pretty competitive and even beat online prices sometimes! We were in dire need of selling our pop collection worth 3k as we have been trying to save for a down payment for a house. Although we LOVE our pops, we need to focus on a bigger picture. We have gotten our pops valued before (at different places) and understood that we wouldn't get the full amount of what it's worth, but we did not expect a quote of 400 when they inspected our pops. When we first arrived the individual helping us was very nice and polite, she gladly took our pops and said she would contact us in a few days. Within 3 days we had already been contacted and they were kind enough to provide us with a breakdown of prices etc. They offered us 400 dollars for our whole collection, we were expecting at least 1k as we had some pops valued from 100-150 each. (Lee in mind other places have valued our pops much higher and PPG had then valued at 3k +) We understand condition and popularity may have something to do with it but when we see the same pops in the store being sold for twice as much as you valued ours that bummed us out. Again we understand they need to make a profit as well but we felt like we may have been taken advantage of a lil but. When I went to pick up the pops the individual standing there was rude and said "good luck selling your pops on your own". Not cool. Since we left that store we have already sold some of our collection privately and have made nearly as much as she quoted us for our whole collection with selling just a few pops. Not only is this store clean, well designed and laid out, they also have a HUGE selection of pops, a sale section and really friendly staff. Only been once but will be returning to pickup my store pickup order, and check out other options they have in the store as well. There's a pretty good selection of common pops and exclusives. They even have a variety of Dorbz and other Funko-based items. This is a personal preference of mine, but the music selection as you peruse the small store is awesome! Commons are $10 ($9.95 specifically) and exclusives vary by price. As of 1-25-2018, they don't have any special/deals like "buy 3 & get 10% off" or "buy 5 and get one free" or something similar to that. They do have a rewards plan you can sign up for where every dollar you spend is a 1 point, and a certain amount of points gives you discounts. With that said, great store to check out if you're a fan. read more

I've been to their plaza many times for boba adventures and I never noticed this little Funko shop on the second floor! The fiancee and I came on a Friday before New Years weekend and they were operating on normal business hours. They have a huge selection from commons, to exclusives, to even chases. However, I think the one thing that really makes this place stand out is their customer service. The guy was happy to answer the many questions I had and was glad to help me search for the different pops on my wishlist. I also love that you're able to make purchases online and pick up in store. I was told that online orders are given priority so even if a customer wanted to purchase it in store. They also have a 5% off Yelp check-in special. This was our last stop after visiting two other locations. They have a variety of exclusives and a lot of not so common commons. The lay out of the place was really nice and Christina was definitely a big help with her introduction speech. They have some pops available on consignment including PA vegeta (1200). I just heard about this place last week, but haven't been able to check it out because I get out of work so late. I was finally able to leave work at a reasonable hour so I could make it here before they closed. It's a cool shop with a wide assortment of pops. But what I appreciated more than the variety of pops is the friendliness and knowledge that the employees had about the products. I am a relative pop novice, but Christina (sorry if this isn't how you spell your name) and Adam and were kind enough to give me a crash course in Popology 101. We had about a 20-30 minute discussion that ranged from the different types of exclusive pops like "chase" pops, "vaulted" pops, "shared exclusives" and "sticker" exclusives. They didn't have to do that, but I appreciated that they took the time to explain it to me. This alone is reason enough for me to keep coming back to Madpoppin. read more

This place is an excellent store to go check out if you are into collecting funko pops and are around the area. The owner Christina is extremely nice and likes to converse with her consumers which is always a plus for me because I like to talk about everyday things. The overall selection includes lots of vaulted and uncommon pops on the right side, newer released pops on the left side, dorbz in the middle, and the rare stuff is either in the counter or behind her on its own shelf. There is a great five star program where if you spend a certain amount, you will get a small discount on your next purchase. Also currently I believe if you make any purchase from them, you can get a free comic book by checking in which is fantastic. "Downsides": Not all pops are 10/10 condition for those who only buy minty pops, a few of the pops will cost more than the "PPG" value, and parking is not the very best at the plaza in which her store is located at. Still overall deserves a 5/5 rating read more

I came back here to pick up the Battle of the Bastards 2 pack today. Same friendly staff. Lots of selection. They have a good amount of exclusives and grails. Very organized and clean. I'd say this is one of the best funko pop stores I have been to. Only downside to this place for me is its quite a drive with the LA traffic coming from Eastside/Glendale area. I was able to come by since I had additional errands in the area. Common pops are a decent price too. $9.95. read more
