This is a well-stocked, clean grocery store. They have an adjoining food court and restaurant as well. It was not crowded when I was there on a Saturday morning and the line moved very quickly.

Food court next to store is worth a visit - good vegetarian food Good size store. Has all the essentials you need. A bit pricier but clean inside.

Fungus on the outer edge of spicy potato filled flatbread.

Fungus found in frozen food. I bought a spicy potato filled flatbread only yesterday night. I kept it refrigerated. But once I opened packet today morning , noticed fungus. Store is not careful and observant.

The South Bay really isn't short of Indian Grocery store's yet I felt that this one was a middle of the road average place. It's a decent sized place but the isles are narrow and cramped, prices are also not always listed and I didn't find Creamed Coconut here which is an essential ingredient for the Curry that I make. They do however, have a good selection of fresh Vegetables and is cleaner than most of the Indian store's I have visited. They also have a small selection of British item's, mainly Biscuits (Cookies).

Had a great experience with curbside pickup at Madras Groceries. Everything was well packed in boxes(masala powders, fresh vegetables, snacks, dairy, yogurt, etc) and delivered directly to my car's trunk. Prices are same as instore prices. It took just 5 minutes from my arrival to leaving the place. Curbside made job much easier. They had 2 parking spots reserved for curbside pickup. So, no need to park far away from door. Email them your grocery list (their website has the email address) and they call you when order is ready for pickup. Thanks to store Manager Vairavan and team. We got 95% of items in the quantities mentioned by us and I am satisfied. One small suggestion for them is to email back which items were out of stock for us to easily sort out at home or mention them in the return receipt pasted on the boxes.

They had the usual array of nonstick pots, which don't work very well for me. They had a small but useful section for clay pots. I thought Amazon and AliExpress had overpriced clay pots, but I was wrong. These prices were significantly higher. I can only hope these are the best of the best. Checking up on 99 Ranch, I couldn't even find clay pots in there more limited kitchen utensil section. I ran across one item where knockoffs are ubiquitous. They've completely flooded AliExpress and you have to watch it with Amazon. Hankook had the authentic item and at significantly lower price than both Amazon and Aldi express. I found a tea section to be well stocked. I also recognize some of the tea brands. 99 Ranch has gone with lower cost options, but if you buy 6 ounces of tea, are you gonna be stuck with an enormous supply. Better to go with reliable brands that I have enjoyed in the past. I loved the produce section. It was nice and fresh. It also had wider selection of produce than other supermarkets. The store itself is stunning. The the aisles are spacious. The store is meticulously clean. The shelves are fully stocked. There were only about two items which were shopped out. The snack area and the frozen foods were even more interesting. It's obvious in those two sections that there were many more Korean brands. I should've tried some, but it's hard for me to resist snacks and there was a good chance that would finish the entire bag in one go. Better to skip it entirely. The parking lot for the supermarket is spacious. I had no trouble finding a spot even though I arrived in the late afternoon when everybody has gotten off work. I live about two hours away. And I am very jealous because there is no Hankook near me.

We have purchased a wok from here, twice, and they were reasonably priced (around $35 if I recall), and we got a spare lid for a reasonable price as well. I also picked up some sundae (Korean blood sausage) because it's my partner's favorite. They also have a huge selection of bakery items and Korean rice cake desserts. There was even a paan counter, with a ton of interesting pan varieties like chocolate pan. Bakery counter had a lot of interesting desserts and cakes. The food counter was the highlight of the store. I found a lot of people were there just to have lunch. Food was reasonably priced and was of good quality. Lunch combo was just $12 and comes with 2 or 3 sides, rice and 2 rotis. That was more than sufficient for one person as a heavy meal. Eggplant curry, paneer curry and malai kofta were my sides. All were excellent. Malai kofta was the less spicy and rich gravy which even kids will love. Samosa chaat was my other item. It was flavorful, came in good quantity and was reasonably priced. Mango Lassi was good as well. That was $4. They also have complimentary free masala tea. Tea was of excellent quality, I also took out potato puffs and bread pakora. Both were flavorfull. I didn't realize bread pakora had good fillings, which was a pleasant surprise. As for grocery items, the place was heavily north indian focussed. For south Indian items, it is better to go to other grocery stores near by. There was a pani puri stand in front of the store which will open around 1 - 1:30 pm. I will probably try some pani puri next time.
