They'd been coming there for decades (she was a ski racer) and loved how the more recent owners had transformed the place. Their spontaneous and friendly approach perfectly captured the ambience. There were smiling faces abounding not only amongst the helpful staff but with the groups of diners. At the corner table and couch was a family with young children doing school homework. The staff all spoke excellent English and made us feel like regulars.

By chance we spotted a poster and booked a table for dinner on a lovely summer evening. They have a wonderful outdoor area, and the whole ambiance is very cozy. The menu is nicely concise, with something for everyone. I had the vegetable curry, which was delicious -- not spicy at all. If you like it hotter, there's a chili olive oil on the table to spice things up, but be warned, it's really hot. Service was very attentive and friendly. On the downside, prices are on the higher end for this type of restaurant. Still, we had a great evening and will definitely try it again next summer or next winter.
