This place is a bit more on the pricey side (in line with other restaurants in the area) - my meal was about $13 USD which is a little less than what I would have paid for a comparable meal in the US. [ENG] Okay, it had been a really long time since I ate a burger in SP and reacted like: omg! That's what happened. I took a long time to visit Z Deli because people always said the space was too small and always crowded. Besides that, there ir no air conditioning, which can be pretty annoying in SP's summer. That's why the restaurant doesn't get a 5-star rating. But going back to the delicious part of this review, the burger is truly amaaaaazing! I ordered one called Minetta which has cheddar cheese and caramelized onion. The meat was exaclty medium well as ordered and bread was slightly crunchy with a little taste of butter. LOVED IT. The pastrami sandwich was little bit dry, wasn't that into it. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of fois gras, so I didn't get the famous foie gras burger. However, all of my friends that tried really really really liked it. The regular fries are great! Crunchy and not at all oily :) the fat fries are good, but they get kinda soaked in the sauce, so I prefered the other ones. There's also the pink lemonade, which I thought was bit sweet since it contains "groselha", a really sweet Brazilian drink. I often go back to Z Deli, but try to go on not so busy hours or just get a take out :)
