I would say it's only surpassed by the new place in Soldotna; prior to discovering the place in Soldotna, it was our opinion that Denail 420 was the best we've uncovered. The store is sprawling, they have all varieties and permutations of cannabis AND paraphernalia. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It's nice that the store is oriented side ways, so you have some privacy if you don't want people knowing your business about where you're shopping. Their hours are also well extended beyond most other places in the bowl. Only bummer is Houston has a city tax in addition to the state tax, so factor in a few extra dollars beyond the listed prices. Prices are still pretty much on par. We like this place and expect they will do quite well, especially once they expand into growing. Like all places in Alaska, cash only.

My number was completely skipped over because "some friends" were inline waiting as well. I mentioned this to the person calling numbers and I was given the old "shit happens". The shop was bright and clean. Lots of products to view and purchase. Lots of items I haven't seen in other dispensaries like: glass cleaners and ultra heavy high quality flower pipes. Lots of deals for flower. The sole budtender was efficient. We purchased a preroll pack and there was some confusion as we were told we could pick strains of the pack and in the end we got a pack with one strain. Not a huge deal but a little disappointing. Overall we would definitely return.
