When I first saw balanced training, I was skeptical, though through time and training with Evan, I…read morehave seen real results with Hippo. I have had him for eight years; even with training, I have never accomplished good recall. This week, we were able to do it for the first time. Hippo and I's relationship is better than ever- and he even gets excited when the e-collar comes out! Since his training, there have also been times when the collar has quite literally kept Hippo safe. We got stuck in the woods at one point, and search and rescue had to be called. If it wasn't for his training, I think it would've been much harder to get us safely out. He could get on a motorboat and sit calmly (even though he had never seen a boat). Anyway, I can't recommend it enough.
