Previously also had a premise in Bondi also, but now only operates out of Pitt st, Sydney. The service is blissfully relaxing and pampering. $49 gets you 75 minutes of blissful thai and oil combination massage, the massage starts with a foot spa and then moves you i to a full body massage leaving you relaxed and refreshed, before you leave a tasty relaxing tea is offered. I reside out Penrith way and I have gone at least every 3 months, using it as a opportunity to spend time with one or more friends as they have a room that accommodates a group of 4. All my friends look forward to my call inviting them for a girls day out for massage and lunch. This is one of Sydney's best massage, the massage is great, the environment is clean, elegant and relaxing and the price is unbeatable. Once you try it you will also be addicted like me.

Following a recommendation from a colleague, a friend and I headed along to Sangs Thai Massage on Darling Street for an hour long massage. Told we could have 60 minutes for $60, filling those 60 minutes how we liked, we decided to fill our time slot with 30 minutes of back, neck & shoulder and 30 minutes of reflexology. When we walked through the jangling door of the shop, the staff abruptly ceased their conversation, staring blankly at us as we returned their blank looks, feeling as though we'd somehow ended up in the wrong place & were rudely interrupting. After a humorously long silence, we made our request, only to be interrupted midway through our sentence by the lady at the counter handing us their list of prices. Stuttering a little from the interruption, we asked again for what was recommended, despite it not being on the list. This was followed by extended conversation (in Thai) between four different staff members, during which my friend and I stood awkwardly at the door. After what seemed an extremely lengthy time, we received the nod and were both ushered into the same room and were told to strip down to the loose pants they handed us. From here on in, things got better. The massage was strong, performed by a mass of elbows and knees, my strong masseuse kneeling and walking over my back, legs and arms like a cat pawing at a couch. Whilst we ended up with full body massages as opposed to the back neck and shoulder we'd requested, the massage was firm and satisfying. Moved out to the front of the shop for the reflexology part of the massage, our feet were rubbed with tiger balm as we sipped on our tea and watched Deal or No Deal over the chattering of our masseuses. If you don't have a tv at home you can catch the news and get a massage at once at Sangs Thai. If this isn't a draw card for you, then the massage in itself is worth going for. They also do hot stone massage, acupuncture and sports massage.

We settled on $42 but I should have simply walked out and refused. I will be reporting this business to the Australian Association of Massage Therapist and recommend you use a reputable local business like Healthspace or Endota spa.

I'd honestly give this place 5 starts if it wasn't for the fact that the quality of the massage you get depends a lot of the person who's giving you the massage: I've had some amazing ones and some pretty average ones. It also depends a lot on whether the person follows my instructions and requests: you see, the main reason I often go get these quick massages is because I have a lot of pain on one particular area and side of my back. I always tell them to focus specifically on that area because it's where I need it most, but they don't always do it. However, when they do follow my request and focus on my area of need, hitting the right spot, I walk out of there feeling like a brand new human. So yes, I would definitely recommend this place if you work around the area and is in dire need of a quick massage fix.

Last week went for a massage with a Korean lady called Hana (Hannah) and the massage was so rough and hard she had no idea on how to read a customer. The massage was so hard that I was moving and jumping that she did not even ask if I was ok or if it was too hard so the massage could be adjusted. I complained to the reception and all they could do is appologise. Even the extra service she became tired and complained her arms where getting sore and in the end gave up and said time is up. Then here's the catch, don't pay by card, they slap on a 10% surcharge. I wanted my comlaint to be escalated and all they said was they are sorry and accept the feedback and Jacob the manager would return a call to me. To this day almost a week after no return call. The massage itself was so hard that I ended up with buising for days. Avoid this business, they do not care about customer service, and it appears it's about money more than professionlism.

My shoulders and neck have become as stiff as a board from sitting at my desk for hours every day. However, 30 minutes later I can now actually rotate my head and shoulders again. If you've never experienced a 'real' Chinese remedial massage before, it is very different to the more common Thai massages which are great but seem to do more for one's mental well-being. Chinese massages are more about dealing with core problems and getting your body sorted out like getting the knots out of your neck and back. My massage therapist had hand strength that was phenomenal bringing a new definition of a fine line between pleasure and pain! There are many positives about Healing Hands. Most importantly, the massage was great and effective. Other positives; extremely reasonable prices which become even better after you get back a health fund rebate, easy parking, friendly staff who can communicate in good English. I'm going back again next week for session 2. I read that they also offer a variety of other therapies like cupping and foot reflexology which I'd be interested in trying down the track. If you are looking for a luxurious spa environment, this is not the place for you. Healing Hands is clean, comfortable and minimalistic inside. The location is tucked in a bit so quite easy to miss if passing by. You would come here to get your body sorted out without the bells and whistles and they did this very well for me (so far).

It is quite a lot of pressure, and can be seen as intense next to eating some fairy floss off a stick at the show. But it does offer some muscle stimulation. The therapists are all very well trained and strong. What's best about this store is the prices, they are kept well down, you don't have to commit to a full hour massage, you can just have a quick 15min-20mins if that's all you need.
