Cuttle fish, lightly seared tuna with vegetables, paella Valenciana, snails, and for dessert, a slice of roasted pumpkin and a brownie covered in powdered sugar and blackberries, raspberries, and cherries in a sauce. All was delicious. The slice of pumpkin was a bit weird for me, as an American, for dessert, and I'll not have that again, but this is a great little restaurant in a cool little square in a casual atmosphere with great affordable food. She was patient (with my poor Spanish) and very helpful. The store was busy, so it is a popular place. I got what I need. The store is small, by US standards, but it has a good selection of oil paints, watercolors, paper, books, brushes, pens, and other supplies you need to do you art. I highly recommend it.

After days of walking around and shopping and seeing lots of pottery at more touristy shops we too thought that this place had more authentic wares. They also had a nice range of options from large serving bowls to mugs, plates, tiles, and more. The designs even had a wide range from the more traditional teal and black or burnt orange and black to the basic blue designs to the more colorful modern designs. Everything was priced fairly as well which made it easy to buy way more than I needed! The owner packaged them carefully so that they would not break while traveling. My only gripe is that we decided a day later that we wanted to buy a few more pieces, because why not? When we headed back they were closed. after looking it up we realized that they would be closed for the entire next day as well which was unfortunate for us as we were leaving early the following morning. So my advice is, CHECK THE STORE HOURS IN ADVANCE!

Everything is very reasonably priced and Yuste was nothing but wonderful every time I'd bring visiting friends and family. He also sells some incredible artwork and pieces dating back to the 1700s, so you can leave with a real piece of Valencian history. He is happy to tell you all about the piece.
