Two things I wanted to stay away from during my wedding planning: wedding expos, and overpriced vendors who think just because you're getting married in Manhattan means your pockets are bottomless. One of my girlfriends was getting married a few weeks before me, and really wanted to check out a wedding expo in the city. She invited me to go with her for the bonding experience and support (initially my internal response was a slow motion resounding Noooooooooooooooooo!) but I love my friend, and with all of my vendors already booked I said 'yeah sure!' Figuring I could help her through the chaos. After the third hair removal vendor offering their service I started to feel a bit self conscious (do I look like the bearded lady!?) we turned the corner and BEHOLD! Here we stumbled upon Magnolia Photo Booth (aka the absolute hit and highlight of my wedding). I initially didn't want a photo booth. My venue wasn't huge, and most of my photo booth experiences revolved around Bar Mitzvahs and trips to the mall in 1998. But after meeting with them, and seeing what they offered (at a really great price). I walked away with a complete change of heart. Their booth was a really good size and fit perfectly with our venue. Accessories were great, staff was very friendly and accommodating and the communication I had with them was wonderful. I had a great time creating the design for the picture printout, and pumped to get the coffee table book with everyone's photos in it. The best part for me was receiving an email from them the day after the wedding. They sent me every photo taken that night. As the bride and groom, we're obviously not able to be two places at once. As we scrolled through the album and saw pictures of Everyone, from my 4 year old flower girl to my 86 year old grandmother goofing around, we were in hysterical laughter, loving knowing our whole family had a great time. read more

I can't believe nobody has Yelped these guys yet. Awesome. I was going to complain that the booths should have a video screen to show how we're going to look, but I think the lack of one actually allows us to have more candid shots. The photos are also pretty damn good quality too. I love the widescreen looks of the photos too. I thought that our photos are private, but haha, you can get to see them online and look at other people's photos as well. I like the "old time" logo of your booths too. We booked Magnolia with a Groupon months back and they were an amazing part of our wedding. The guests loved the photobooth so much the line was longer than the one at the bar! I've always been a big fan of photo booths, so when it came time to get married having a photo booth at my wedding was as important to me as the standard photographer. After a bunch of research I settled on Magnolia and couldn't be happier with the results. The booking process was quick and easy, with great communication. They checked in with the venue themselves and on our busy wedding day I didn't have anything to worry about, freeing me up to worry about other things. The booth itself was a big hit with all of our guests. They loved having photos to take home, and the quality was amazing. Everyone looked spectacular, and my wife and I now have a gallery of our friends and family looking their best and having a great time. My only regret is that I didn't have more free time at my wedding to hop in the booth and take more photos! Whenever I had a free moment I would duck inside, either with guests or just by myself, to take more shots, but I wish I were getting married again so I had an excuse to rent another booth. I cannot say enough nice things about our experience with Magnolia Photo Booth. My husband and I were married this past October, and our interactions with Dan and Jessica have been so pleasant. They were quick to answer our questions and were on top of all the logistics leading up to our wedding day. Magnolia stood out from the multitude of photo booths in the NYC area as elegant, quirky, reliable, and fun! These are not at all like the photo booths from your high school prom. We used Magbooth for our wedding last week in NYC and they were absolutely amazing. I can't say enough great things about them. From the ease and professionalism of booking the date (and I was able to get a Yelp offer!), to the fantastic service I got the day of my wedding, and also the great quality of the pictures. The attendant they had for my event was so incredibly nice. Before the night was over, he made sure my husband and I got a few pictures in because he knew we had been running around all evening. I ended up extending my event by an hour and I only wish I had thought to extend them as well to get more great photos! The quality and the designs of the photos are probably one of the best I've seen at any event I've gone to where there was a photo booth. Photos are nice and large - there is this great vintage-looking filter on the pictures that's fun and unique from most photo booths. In addition, when I shopped around, I found that Magbooth prices were extremely reasonable so that definitely sealed the deal for us. I had a Magbooth at our wedding reception a couple weeks ago in NYC and I couldn't be happier with this decision. Without any hesitation or reservation I would recommend Magbooth. In a word, this company is AMAZING. It starts with the people. Every Magbooth employee I was in contact with during the process was incredibly helpful, efficient, enthusiastic and passionate. It is clear they all truly believe in the company and it shows in their service levels - top notch. The picture booth itself has an "old-timey" look and feel to it and did not take away from the ambience of the wedding reception. In fact, it blended in nicely. wow, i am SO SO HAPPY that we booked magbooth. i was a little skeptical at first because it was a standalone photo booth company and none of my engaged friends have heard about it but WOW, i think everyone will definitely remember our wedding because of this. i feel like you definitely get your money's worth with magbooth. everyone enjoyed the props, how easy it was to use the machine, dio (event worker) was so nice, and that you can find the pictures online for easy access to share with friends and family. and everyone, i mean EVERYONE, looked gorgeous in the photos because of the filter and the quality of the camera. definitely recommend to anyone who loves photobooth pictures and wants a great experience. the whole team, from start to finish, has been so easy to work with. they answer all my questions and respond so quickly! Without a doubt, the greatest addition we made to our wedding. The customer service throughout booking was nothing but professional and friendly. We were so crazed the day of the wedding, we didn't even realize that the booth and attendant had shown up, found their space and set everything up in time without our having to say A WORD. Several friends had photo booths at their weddings, and we loved the idea so having a photo booth was a no-brainer for us. We knew that the booth would be in a visible area in our reception hall, so we wanted one that matched the industrial/modern feel of our space, and Magbooth was perfect. What sealed the deal for us, however, was the sample photos they sent - they were much better quality than samples from other vendors. After booking, the communication process with the Magbooth staff was smooth. We had very specific ideas about our graphic design and typography, and the Magbooth designer worked to make sure everything was as we wanted it. One small complaint is that the sample photos online make it look like full bleed was possible for the logo/banner on each photo, but it's not - there's an unavoidable white border. Not a big deal overall though. On the day of, the Magbooth attendant was flexible and friendly - he had to delay setting up because we had to unexpectedly move the cocktail hour inside due to rain, but was able to roll with it. Additionally, we appreciated that he made sure the bride and groom got a picture together in the booth at the end of the night and entertained our flower girl who was quite a fan of the booth. The included photobook (received less than 2 months after the wedding) is a fantastic souvenir and nicely put together. Overall we had a great experience and would not hesitate to use them again. read more

Magnolia Photo Booth are awesome! There are so many photo booth companies to choose from and I knew I wanted a photo booth at my wedding but the quality had to be there. I was so glad to have tried out Magbooth at my husband's cousin wedding. The quality of the photos are amazing and I love the vintage filter. I contacted them that very night when we got home from the wedding and booked them for our wedding in June. Jessica, Dan, and Michael were so easy to work with. Michael, the graphic design guy is so good at what he does and he knew exactly how to make our design. We used Magbooth for our wedding in April and it was awesome! Jessica, Dan, Michael, Dio and the whole team were great to work with and made prep/coordinating with our venue seamless. We could not have been more happy with having Magbooth be a part of our event in Brooklyn a couple weeks ago! The photos were gorgeous - the quality, the lighting, the presentation.
