I've collected for years, and never actually visited the studio until about 3 years ago. It's so worth the drive! The shelves are always stocked and the studio is laid out well, so it's a pleasurable shopping experience. There's always a huge selection of the different functional and decorative pieces in all of the glazes. If there's something in particular you want that's not on the shelves, be sure to ask the staff because they may have it in the back. The staff is so friendly and, if you're lucky enough to go in when Peter is there, he's so very kind and humble. I've ordered by phone several times in years past and had it shipped to me when I lived out of state. The packages are packed and padded well for shipping, and the shipping isn't expensive and arrives within a few days. Next up on my agenda is the seconds sale or holiday open house, both of which benefit my favorite charity, St. Jude.
