We brought two Panasonic Lumix cameras in for repair. One had moisture behind the lens, the other some dings on the front and a lens shutter that wasn't opening or closing properly. They fixed them both for 60 Lira each in about five hours read more

Having your Mac Book stop working in a foreign country when it is your key to all your finances is…read morenot an enjoyable situation to be in, so I took a cab to the Mac store in a upscale mall on the Asian side of Istanbul. They had just stoped doing repairs that day(!) due to COVID, so I took the Metro to HKN Apple Servis because I thought an independent repair shop would be more likely to be open and cheaper. It is conveniently located in the shopping district in Taksim. Bilisim was very calming and professional. He understood that is hard to trust some with an object so crucial to your life. They had already fixed it by the time I got back to my hotel! I thought the work charge was too little and offered them more. They refused so I bought an unnecessarily large back up drive.

I love Apple Stores since I am a tech-savvy guy especially about the Apple products mainly iPhone…read moreand iPad. Anyways, let's talk a little bit about this store. The location is convenient and easy to reach since its on the first floor of this huge mall. The store is big enough for an Apple Store and the guys at the genius bar are helpful and knowledgeable about the issues and products as in all. My expectations are met with this store and so far so good as I might say. The prices are reasonable as always.
If anyone has been fishing before and loved it.. they'll absolutely love metal detecting - there's…read morea reason this hobby is called "dirt fishing" I've thrown out a line most of my life and until the fish showed itself I had no clue what I hooked, metal detecting is similar in so many ways, well just like fishing you'll need right the equipment to be productive and efficient. Admittedly I'm not a pro at fishing or this new found hobby but I don't need to be I just need the right equipment and some basic knowledge to get started. After doing some research and getting a basic understanding of metal detecting I purchased my Nokta Makro Legend, although I'm a beginner I didn't want to get a beginner's model even after realizing that the learning curve would be a little steeper with this one, but I'm confident in my ability to figure things out so I skipped a few levels and jumped right in. Prior to pulling the trigger on my purchase I read enough literature and watched plenty of YouTubes to understand I would need more than a great metal detector to enjoy this hobby and although I was excited to get out there and start digging targets, I'm not one to go blindly into anything I'm more methodical in my approach to most things and have found the more I know before getting started the more success I will have and therefore it will be something that I will enjoy more and less likely to have started something that wanes after a few months. Fortunately Nokta Makro Technologies offer a full line of accessories so I decided to stick with this manufacturer to get a few basics - their hand trowel are well made and designed to perform, this quality tool is an essential, it's sharp to attack roots with its serrated edges and compacted soils, it's comfort and comes with a ruled scale to get you in the vicinity the first time. The Nokta Makro Premium Stainless Steel Shovel is another essential tool, aggressive, heavy duty and breaks down for travel. The Nokta Makro backpack is a quality backpack that serves multiple purposes, it holds all my gear securely and protects my investment and also ensures when I'm ready to go out on my next adventure I just grab this backpack and I don't have to worry about forgetting anything, as you can see in one of my photos this backpack can carry everything required and being metal detecting gear although rugged most items are light weight so it's comfortable. Although not all my tools and accessories are from Nokta Makro Technologies they do offer many more parts and accessories. The Nokta Makro Legend Metal Detector- is the newest metal detector from Nokta featuring Simultaneous Multi-Frequency, equipped with a carbon fiber lower shaft that gives you added stability and takes a little weight off you allowing you to detect for hours. At only 3lbs this detector is not only lightweight it's powerful and it collapses to 25", comes with a rechargeable battery pack that will let you detect for hours. This fully waterproof metal detector is good underwater up to10ft with vibration mode tht lets you get in the water and still feel every signal that your detector is catching. The flashlight is standard with the Legend as well so you can always be sure to spot the gold or silver even at night. Whether you prefer to look for coins, jewelry or relics, the Simultaneous Multi-Frequency will not leave you disappointed. The Pro Pack includes two great items that you do not get with the standard package, an extended spare battery and a 6" DD search coil, perfect for hunting in trashy parks or coin shooting and a set of wireless bluetooth head phones is definitely an option you will need. Of course there are lots of metal detectors on the market, and I did consider purchasing a few of them but at the end of the day the Nokta Makro Legend checked the most boxes for me. This is a well made piece of equipment with a wide variety of capabilities, the software is easily upgradable and comes with a great warranty and great support. There is a lot to consider when making this type of purchase but I'm confident the value is here...
