As an ex owner of a cleaning company, I would strongly advise against this company. They were hired to clean my daughters house as a deep cleaning service and the only thing they deep cleaned was the tub. They use some type of chemical so the PURE cleaning is a bunch of BS. They didn't even change the sheets, let alone clean walls and baseboards. Over $300 for making up beds with old sheets and sweeping the floor! NEVER AGAIN! read more

I had Maid Brigade three or four times and each time was worse than the time before. They use their own products which are terrible and leads me to believe it's only water and salt. Toilets were filthy every time they left. Did not clean under the rim and was done by amateurs. They lead you to believe that the cleaners are trained but not only are they not trained they just don't care to clean. You pay a high price for no cleaning. After the initial cleaning of over $250 my three bedroom two bath condo was a mess. After that it was $153 for one hour of cleaning. Professional cleaning? That's a joke! read more

So in full disclosure I have unreasonable expectations. My regular person is in quarantine so I decided to hire Maid Brigade. The two ladies showed up precisely on time, masks, foot covering ect. I just felt the whole process was rushed and I did not like the dry mop thing so I went back and redid that. They were very very nice but again time is money. I paid for 2 hours and that is what I got. They missed some things my regular person would never have missed. Like smudgy handprints on the couch and appliances. They did the windows nice and the blinds. That they did really good. Again it's hard to compare against my regular person who I have had for 5 years. read more

Very overpriced and not worth it. The three women sent were all very nice. I went to the trouble of clearing away things ahead of time to make their job easier. Overall the bathroom was poorly done. I cleared out the shower caddy and magazine rack in the bathroom ahead of time and neither one was cleaned at all. They used a powerful vacuum that did a great job. The kitchen was cleaned satisfactorily with the exception of a couple of things. I opened the oven door and there was still wet muck by the seam of the oven window. I used a paper towel to clean it myself. For what they charge I would have expected better. Paid $217.00. I feel they were worth only $150 the most for the job that was done in the less than two hours that they cleaned. read more

I have been using Maid Brigade for awhile, they don't do a great job it's very light surface cleaning. I have had numerous incidents where they are scheduled and then do not show up. Some of those being a Saturday where you can't get in touch with the main office for a direct answer. And on top of that they have broken things of mine more then once. One time they didn't even tell me they just took what they broke and I noticed it was missing on my own. The office admitted the maids took it with them and said they would bring it back but never did. I always give numerous chances because everyone has off days but they have finally done enough to lose my business. Do yourself a favor use someone else read more

I have never used any home cleaning services as i have nothing to compare them to but i was just left very unhappy and unimpressed. They arrived on time which was good and they got straight to work. My initial thought was WOW! they are amazing but then once they left and i started really walking around the house i realized that it wasn't all that WOW as i thought. Closet shelves were left dirty and dusty, window sills were also left dusty not all but most, windows weren't really cleaned, and today the kicker! i accidentally kicked my slipper under the bed and when i went to retrieve it i noticed some wrapping plastic (we recently moved in and it was how the bed-frame was packed in) which equals to trash! I didn't want to be micromanaging them and making sure that everything was done up to par and up to how much the services were going to cost... because it was definitely not worth the price. We spoke to the manager when being told the final price that will be charged in our credit card and he did offer to send them over again. We didn't take him up for the offer, we had already arranged our schedule for them to come and plus i am a huge believer of do it right the first time to avoid any additional work. Paid $237 plus tax. The type of work done was probably worth $200 taxes included. Pros: The bathrooms were left really clean! Unfortunately we will not be using them again. read more

I called Maid Brigade and the gentleman (Bob?) was very accommodating and told me he'd try and move things around and get me a team of cleaners for that very day. He called me 15 minutes later and said a team of three cleaners would be arriving in a few hours! The cleaners did a fantastic job and were extremely thorough. Operations are not well organized (hard to reschedule, whatever specifics you set up with one salesperson, the next one will have no idea about, staff was 30min late, started cleaning the wrong room etc). Also I wouldn't advertise myself as green cleaning service if I leave the water running for several minutes without a reason. Overall staff was sweet and did a good job so it's worth a little patience. Next time I'll call more ahead of time so that I don't get stressed out about the glitches. read more

I made an appointment last week to have my home cleaned today because I had foot surgery last Thursday. The appointment was for 8:30 A.M. 8:30 came and went then at 9:22 someone knocked on the door. I did not receive an email or phone call that they were going to be late. The phone call came after the maids outside realized they were not getting in. The gentleman that called provided an excuse. Waste of $227 dollars! I hired them for 3 hours and they wanted to charge $247 for a 3 bedroom ranch. I was desperate and agreed to that, but was very upset when they packed up 25 minutes early. My house was still dusty and dirty and they were charging me for a full 3 hours. I called the manager and he claimed these are his two best workers but apologized that they packed up early and took off $20. I invited him over to come see what kind of job they did, but he declined. If you need someone to wipe down your counter and floors then they are good, but If you need a clean house then they are not for you. read more

I'm not sure if the previous reviewers have the correct maid brigade franchise. I have been using Maid Brigade of Long Island for approx. 11 years in two homes. My home is always left clean and shining after they finish. I have never, ever has any problems with trusting the cleaners in my home. The rates are competitive with other cleaning services (that are franchises). If I have a problem, I call Bob, the owner/manager, and it gets fixed. I have recommended Maid Brigade of Long Island to others without hesitation. I know they do a great job, because for a little bit I used another cleaning company. I had received a $1000 gift card for the other company's services as a birthday gift. Can't say their name here, but it rhymes with "Berry Blades". They were the same price but terrible. Everything I had come to expect with Maid Brigade simply wasn't done by the other company. read more

I wish I would have read reviews prior to hiring this company. Beware scammers. I had them on a bi-weekly cleaning service. The first time they came my girlfriend was home. The house got a decent cleaning but for a price. It was called an " initial deep clean". Two weeks later no one is home but luckily I have good video surveillance. They arrived at 11am and had left by 12 maybe 1205. I was billed for 1:45 minutes. On top of that they did barley more then vacuum and move a few things around. Nothing was picked up dishes were still piled in the sink (even though I said I would even pay extra to have dishes done). Nothing on surfaces was disturbed never mind cleaned. They wasted no time billing me top rate too. When I called to complain the woman just wanted to argue with me instead of even apologizing or even try to make it right. Needless to say... See ya sucker. Now I'm off to dispute the charge for a service that is not complete. read more
