Reasonable prices and gets the job done. They have good deals for first time customers on their website (it says seasonal deals or something but I called and it seems like they are active all the time). Our home is 3 bed and 5 baths in a very wooded area and we have two dogs, so cleaning the place is no small task. I think as a first time customer, the maids weren't mentally prepared for how big the house actually is (even though I told the booking lady on the phone the square footage) as I noticed there was a more leisurely pace in the beginning and lots of rushing within the last hour. They did miss a few cobwebs in relatively noticeable locations (eye level) but for the most part I was very satisfied with the result. Overall, there were only little issues that would go away if I opted for repeat services, which I am currently considering. read more

Completely satisfied with the service. Sometimes the setting things up requires a bit of back and forth email BUT, when it comes to the cleaning itself. It is excellent! Rather than regular cleaning, we've tended to instead request a good "deep clean" every 3-4 months. We've tried several different cleaning agencies in the Silver Spring area with varying successes but always ended up coming back to Maids Prime. (We usually ask for Sonia's team) :) read more

If you are looking for a regularly cleaning service that will leave your home clean and safe for you to live, please do not use this company. Their good teams leave your home LOOK clean, their bad ones don't even bother to make it look clean. I've been sticking with them for a few months, spending a lot of time writing feedback after every cleaning and teaching their maids what "clean" means, hoping that one day I will be lucky to be able to meet their super star team that earned them all the Five-star reviews, OR they can train their team properly. That day never came. After using their cleaning services for a few months, our hardwood floor and basement concret floor begain to have a layer of shining glaze and get slippery. I did not know where the glaze came from until last Sunday. The team came out last Saturday was so bad that I decided to clean my place meself the next day. It turned out that the mysterious layer of glaze was all the soap water used by their maids to "Mop" our floor. They call "wet the floor with soap water" mopping floor. The floor was dirty still, and I got a lot of hair from places I haven't been since their maids left one day ago. It took me a day to remove the soap on the floor myself. Not to say all the scraches and marks on our floor knocked by their vacumm, their maids don't bother to lift and gently put down their vacumm. It's not their home, not their floor, they don't care. Why did I bother to hire them and spend all this money at the first place? I did complain to the customer service, they were helpful and sent a different team over for a free cleaning, although they did indicate on the phone that my expectations were not reasonable and the teams I called not professional were highly liked by other customers. Reading through their customer services' responses to the poorly rated reviews here, accusing customers for not being actual and reasonable does seem to be a theme. Their maids are not professional and some of them are not polite. I do not recommend this company. read more

I had a really poor experience with their customer service. I called after experiencing challenges on the website. I needed to book two cleans -- a move-in and a move-out. I spent upwards of 25 minutes on the phone booking both cleans and was given times for both. When I called back to cancel one, they told me the second one was never booked, and told me that it was probably because I didn't give them all of the details. I know they had all the details -- my call with them was long and very specific. They also had no availability to reschedule that cleaning and didn't seem apologetic about the mixup in the least. I was so disappointed, as they seem to have great reviews on here. **Edited to respond to their response. I think that Maids Prime is shaping our phone call to fit what they'd like it to say. At no point did they take any accountability for the mix-up (and just telling me what *might* have gone wrong does sound like blaming the customer, so you might want to revise that script for the future), and as for staying on the phone -- the phone call concluded like any other one would have -- there was no "wait, please, we'd like to try to fix this". It was simply that they didn't have other availability, they didn't have any record of my other reservation, and that was it. Yes, they did call to try to fix things but that was hours after our original phone call and I had already scrambled to find another cleaner when we were moving the next day. I'm sure they do a great job cleaning houses -- their reviews show it. And perhaps there is better success using their online scheduling system. But I still consider the live-person customer service to be lacking. read more

I had an appointment set up after exchanging only 2 emails and response was quick. Maids arrived just on time. They really put their elbow grease in. Very good overall and I will likely use them again. They sometimes have last minute openings but generally, seem to get booked up very quickly. A few comments about my experience. My booking started off pretty bumpy- similar to some things other Yelpers have mentioned, I thought I was booked, after replying back via email with my confirmation for the time that they had told me they were available. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. I missed their phone call asking for billing information while I was at work. When I called back an hour or two later, the slot I thought I was reserved for was apparently no longer available and the next one wasn't available until a week later. Whomever I spoke with from their customer service team was completely unapologetic and a little combative at times during the conversation, which almost made me think twice about using their company. The service itself was pretty good though. Two maids arrived just 6 minutes past the scheduled time. They were good natured and were pretty thorough with their cleaning. They cleaned every area I had asked for within the two hour time frame and ended right to the minute within the scheduled time. Upon checking their work, I found a spot or two they had missed but they willingly went back did a last scrub in those areas. The only thing I was disappointed was they did not clean up the shower curtain in the bathroom, which was in dire need of it, and it was something a previous service had done for me so I figured it would have been included. Otherwise, it was an excellent job and the house felt extra clean. Since then, have started thinking I should be getting maid service like this much more often! read more

I was excited to book Maids Prime, however on the scheduled day I waited 2.5 hours for them just to arrive- and they never did. They allotted a 12-2:30 time saying that this is a range to arrive in the event of any uncontrollable circumstances. I reached out at 1:30 - the manager called me assuring their arrival within the next 30 minutes. I waited until 2:30 before reaching back out to cancel the entire appointment. The manager was apologetic offering discounted rates for future services- but I'd rather deal with another company that won't keep me waiting longer than they are scheduled to clean my house. read more

I'm not sure of a 3 or 4 star review... I kept finding glass shards from weeks ago that I was stepping on. They must have swept it under the rug, because I keep stepping on it. Otherwise Maids Prime did an excellent job of cleaning my entire apartment. I chose the "move in/out" option and for 3 hrs the two women worked very hard and my apartment was sparkling afterwards. I was surprised they even washed the sheets that they took off of the two beds. Vacuuming was immaculate throughout the entire house all of the carpets looked fantastic. The smell was fresh and clean. Everything was dusted throughout. Surprised is an understatement from the standpoint that my expectations were average because of other services I had used before. I had Maids Prime come to my condo that was just renovated. There were walls ripped down, new drywall put up, floors redone, etc. The place was caked with dust and debris in all the nooks and crannies of the building. I was actually worried once they arrived they would tell me they won't be able to do this type of cleanup and I probably would not have been that surprised. However, they didn't even seem phased. I let them know I would be upstairs in the building working and to please call me when they finish. They called me two hours later, and the place was as good as new. I checked all the cabinets and all the shelves, even those that were high up - and they were all very thoroughly cleaned. As a bonus, I had a new fridge covered in plastic and styrofoam - they removed all of it and cleaned the fridge completely. I will update this review, as I am having a move out cleaning done by them as well on Monday. If that is as successful as this past cleaning, I will start to use this service regularly. read more

Requested deep cleaning of our home and had a few emails back and forth with the company to pick out dates/services (which were timely and informative). However, when it came time to finalize details by phone, the company did not pick up nor return our calls over a 2-3 day period. The two maids sent for the job, Mauricia and Haydee, went above and beyond the call of duty. They were very thorough and detailed, including taking out books off tables and the bookshelf for dusting and climbing on step stools to clean up a grease stain on the ceiling. I immediately responded asking their next available date. they did finally respond and apologized for my request slipping through the cracks. They immediately offered a complimentary cleaning which we accepted. Their monthly cleaning rates are reasonable and we will go with them.
