So often I've just missed the postman with a parcel that I have that I have been waiting for by a…read morematter of minutes and finding the delivery note on the Mat. Royal Mail have a delivery office/ collection point where you can pick up your undelivered recorded mail provided that you collect within 18 days and bring your slip with a form of recognised identification with you. The mornings are the best time to collect your parcels as as the office is normally quieter, loads of people go after work, with Christmas time being a nightmare.

Let's be realistic, nobody is going to come here unless they have to. My reason for having to was…read morethat the postie had failed to deliver my parcel so I needed to either schedule a redelivery or pick it up from the sorting office. In the past I've been pretty unimpressed with the service here. I've often arrived to be told my parcel isn't here, or that they can't find it. Occasionally I've even been given other people's mail by mistake and had to explain that no, that's not me or my address and ask them to check again. I think I've seen more customers losing their tempers with staff in this building than I've seen in any other. However, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have late opening hours on Wednesdays which makes it possible to collect parcels after work. When I arrived there was no queue of angry customers (there were no customers at all) and I had my parcel in my hands in record time. Maybe they've improved recently. It's still only enough to get 3 stars from me but I definitely recommend taking advantage of those late opening hours.

Sent a Bonnet via Paisley Freight and it got damage even after I spent an absolute age packing it…read more I run a double glazing company and used the reinforced cardboard corners to protect the corners and well as bubbler and can yet it still got dropped on its ends hard enough to damage it so how hard was it dropped as have never damaged a composite door wrapped the same way On a serious note do NOT use these Muppets for body panels as they Cleary employ idiots

I ordered and paid for goods. The seller informed me that…read morethey had contacted Paisley Freight. They were given a consignment number, which gave me concern because it wasn't recgonised on the PF website for tracking. Anyway, PF had been given my mobile number to contact me at least 20 mins before delivery so I could be there at the time. What did IO find on my return home. A card from TNT stating that I would have to rearrange delivery or collect the pallet myself from the depot. I called TNT on the number given and was told that they had no information to contact me, that PF contract out most of their work to TNT and that this wasn't the first time it had happened. I would need to contact either PF or the sender. Well all I can say is on contacting PF they were not interested. They claim that any problems I may now have are with TNT and the seller. Would I recommend PF? No way. Sadly for them the business I work for and the business my wife works for will never use them either. Knock on effect, my wife in her business is often asked for recommended hauliers/couriers. So many more will not be using them either. They only get one star because I can't leave any less.

The place was deserted with one staff member on duty, so I handed over my USB stick and told him my requirements. He mumbled something about 'checking it for viruses' without any mention of charges, and although I told him it was clean he did it anyway, and then proceeded to charge me £2.12 for 8 x A3 copies, which works out at 26.5p each, when the displayed price said 14p. I was too stunned to comment on this so left rapidly. Looking at the receipt later, the charges are £1.12 for the 8 copies, plus £1 for 'Artwork' (??). Outrageous! Somehow I don't think I'll be using this place for copying again anytime in the near future. Welcome to my first one-star review, guys.

Mailboxes Etc offer binding, printing, internet, and document processing services. Essentially,…read morethey can do a lot for you, whether its binding your thesis or photocopying that last minute essay. Brilliant. They really saved my life when it came to a 97 page report that we needed colour copied with 20 minutes to go before it was due in. We literally ran to this branch on Byres road, and thrust it in their face asking "canyoucopythisimmediately?!". I can't remember exactly how much it came to, but any price was worth paying to get it handed in ontime, without penalties, and they managed to photocopy it within 10 minutes which meant we had 10 minutes to hand it in. Needless to say we literally had 1 minute to spare before deadline close, but we did it. Fast, efficient and inexpensive. Phew!
