I…read moresuccessfully quit smoking and picked up a new hobby with vaping, so when I went to visit family in the Carbondale area I thought to purchase a starter kit for my dear uncle who's been a 2-pack a day smoker since I can remember. Well, turns out the 18mg juice I got him was too strong and he was choking to the point of being discouraged with using the item at all. Since vaping has become such a big part of my life, I always travel a little further for a good shop whether in search of something specific or just out of curiosity. When I found out there was a vape shop relatively nearby, I was elated and it only got better from there! I convinced him to come with me and try some flavors that he wouldn't choke on and also enjoy. I was so pleasantly surprised when I walked into the shop. It's large and very welcoming. The lounge is very nice and I like the way the juice bar is separate from the show case. The lady who helped us was very passionate and friendly and honestly, I think her enthusiasm really encouraged my uncle too -- she was middle-aged and I think it kind of showed my uncle that vaping wasn't just something "kids do" but a lifestyle for ex-smokers or all ages. She was very knowledgeable and helped him find a flavor and strength that was suited for him. He bought two bottles. I was very impressed with the store's inventory. Undoubtedly, they are basically running a monopoly on the vape game in this part of NEPA and yet they aren't skimping on their selection. They had a very expansive selection of vape pens, accessories, and mods and surprisingly, they had things I don't normally see. Some of their prices were much higher than I've seen before, but this can be expected when there is 0 competition. I also made a purchase. I also really like the wall of left behind cigarettes. It's downright inspiring and I think they give you a free bottle of juice if you leave your cigs behind which shows me it's less about the money and more about helping you commit to a healthy change. He suggested the boosts and they are not correct for us the coils are not rated to handle the salt nic that we use. When I called and asked about a return I was told they couldn't so I decided to go to the store. Once I arrived I had once again asked about a refund or exchange and was told that I could not be given one. The employee had called his boss not once but twice the second time he asked about on the receipt where it says "no refund will be considered without original packaging" which I had but still wasn't good enough. When the employee called the boss to ask if that counted he said "I don't give a shit if the customer changed their mind they cannot get a refund." I was given 0.6 rated coils which still are not correct they're supposed to be 1.0 or up. I was told try to turn down my wattage but they defeats the purpose of even buying it. I'm angry and upset that I spend nearly $200 in Christmas money and could not even get a EXCHANGE. I will NEVER go back to this place and will be putting in a claim with the BBB. They have lovely employees just should be better informed when it comes to customers who are seeking help on the correct device for them. As for the boss himself he is a selfish ignorant man.
