went here today to wash my car. Im a frequent costumer of multiple locations. one of there employees came up to me multiple times sluring and saying random stuff I couldn't really tell what about. Seemed like he was mad about people not putting stuff back or something but was definitely on something. It isn't my problem though so I choose to ignore most of it had my headphones on didn't care until the end. He started to dump stuff on the back of my car (what looked like a tall boy) and was flipping me off and yelling stuff at me. was mad that my car was semi loud? (It just sounds like a normal mustang) I drive a mustang and it's in a concrete bay all I did was start my car to leave. Continued to yell stuff at me then proceeded to get what looked like a leaf blower out. Then walked around my car hitting my car with it yelling at me to get out. I called the cops and when he started to hit my car harder I drove out of the bay. read more

Only used the automatic car wash once and it was ok. The reason for this "review" is to let everyone know about the leanings of owners. They used to have a huge trump flag and sign out front. They have now painted the building orange and are flying an orange flag which a sign of affiliation with the proud Boys. Love this place, friendly and helpful staff. The touchless car wash comes in a monthly package which is awesome, also options for undercarriage spray. My lifted Jeep Gladiator fits with the height limit being 7'. Highly recommend! This is the second time we've had cars tinted by these folks. Wifey Unit (aka the Queen Bee) actually went to visit them after work and left a bit off-put by what really amounts to their blunt honesty. I myself praise them for that, and QB ultimately did also. They have three basic varieties of tint and it comes in varying levels of opacity. The lower the number, the darker the tint. So if, say, you want "15" all the way around, they tell you what is actually legal in FL, what is too dark, and that in some states it's even less. If you want the super dark stuff, then you sign a waiver. So QB (aka Wifey Unit) gets her car done first and they run it for a free wash, too! Justus, a very affable, friendly chap, walked Wifey Unit through the aftercare process and got me started on the paperwork. Her car looks fantastic, and to keep it that way she is given a lifetime warranty that's good anywhere, basically. I can say basically the same exact thing about my own car. Better news is that there wasn't anything to strip off my front windows so they told me the same basic job would be over $30 cheaper! In short, QB's car did have some tint on her front windows they needed to strip away. Since it had begun to rain when my car was finished, I passed on the car wash. Meantime, as we see again, their upfront honesty is a good thing! Very pleasant folks, just as I recall from past experience. A couple of the fellas there and I had a very pleasant off-topic conversation and joking session. I suppose it's because I was wearing my NY Yankees regalia and the family that runs the place is from Syracuse. Either way, I truly enjoyed sharing our business with these folks again and highly recommend them. They also run the adjacent car wash. As for the detailing end of it, I cannot say enough about how friendly, honest and good they are. They back up their work locally as well. If the tint scratches, bubbles, etc. they will honor their word. What more can you ask than that?! read more

After a day on the water I bring both my jet skis here to wash. The price is very reasonable to start the wash at $2.50 for the self service wash, if you put more in you of course get extra time added. Never have any issue when selecting the foam brush or soap setting product always comes out and seems to be good quality soap. There is plenty of self service carwashes that I been to when you put money in and no soap comes out and just water. This carwash when I come each visit there is always soap, so the staff definitely does a good job keeping the tanks filled. I wouldn't recommend bringing large sized boats to wash I would say each wash stall is good for jet skis and smaller boats. read more

Awesome place. It's not easy to find self-serve car washes anymore never mind one you can get a decent sized trailer into (or they won't chase you out of. Lol). I was able to get our show rig in and cleaned up with little to no issue (trailer is 26'x10.5'x102") and one of the guys in the shop (owner maybe?) was even nice enough to come out and tell someone who cut me off I was next and he needed to wait his turn. Either way, fit what I needed and the guys in the detail shop actually gave a shit what was going on outside and if I needed a hand getting into the bay. I'll be spending my $$ here whenever I'm in Tampa and need to wash one of our vehicles. read more

This self serve car wash is absolutely terrible. my brush ran out of soap I dumped $12 into the machine for nothing. Was a monthly subscriber and paid for the best wash. Things started going down hill with 1/2 of vacuums not even hooked up and rest not working. Now corporate changed hands and guys don't even have tape for the rear washer, and get this. Told the guy that the last offerings of armorall didn't work and especially the Tire Shine and he said he has a bottle inside and he was supposed to give it to the customer to do them selves! WTF? This place has self car wash and automated machine car wash. I tried their second best (second expensive) machine because my car really needed one. $8 later, my car still looked dirty. They simply don't have enough power to wash all the dirt off. I recommend not to use their car wash. It is better to do it yourself. read more

Their website is extremely misleading because it says ALL washes come with a free vacuum.... what they neglect to tell you is that their location on McMullen Booth does NOT include a free vacuum. Took my 2004 Mustang GT to them for a detail, gifted to me by someone that obvi loves me, to be detailed. Thanks to Nick and Torey, I drove away with it looking shiny and new again. Their attention to every detail is amazing! I've already requested this as a repeated gift and soooooo hope to receive it. I have went through the drive thru car wash several times. I don't always get a clean car. Sometimes, small or general spots do not get clean. I've not noticed the price justification for all the upgrades. Go for the basic or clean it yourself in one of the car wash bays. read more

Went to wash vehicle @ 6:18... went into automatic car wash lane... machine took credit card.... divider did not go up. Called and spoke to someone who relayed message to manager (who was in background but couldn't he bother to get on phone and have conversation). Manager stated( through person who picked up phone)I would need to go back during the hours they are on site. They do no offer refunds. I specifically choose this location as it was advertised that they are 24 hrs. I do not have all the availability or time to go to the site at their convenience. My father was there 3 weeks ago and the machine broke the front of his grill. My father is recovering from hip surgery and can hardly walk. He was hesitant of going to a car wash knowing he washed his own vehicles every Saturday. We love our dog and our car was full of dog hair; there was dog hair everywhere (Golden Retriever). Guests coming in -- so we brought our car to Main Street. We were not disappointed - the work completed by the detailer was second to none. 99% of the dog hair was gone! Thanks again Main Street. We will be back. read more

I went there to was my truck and the hoses was messed up and not getting soap. reported it to the manager Torey and he came out and said hoses where messed up and put a minute back on my time . should have put more time on because that wasn't my fault and I ran out of time and had to spend more money to wash it. I told him that someone should been out there to make sure the hoses DON'T get like that again because you don't have time to fix something they should be doing it. And He acted like he wanted to fight and said don't come back just because I reported a problem to him. I asked to speak to the owner and he said his the manager. I think Torey needs to take customer service and it doesn't matter if I spend a $2.50 . As a manager Torey should not being getting VERBAL or trying to fight with me. I stopped going here about a year ago due to their bad car wash And poor tint on my car. but had to go back to have my headlight tint fixed which I was told it was under a 5 year warranty when I called and stopped to have the tint looked at by one of their employees. i am a local auto glass shop and i sent a customer to this location for a front windshield glare strip which costs anywhere from $25-$30 at any other tint shop in the area... they charged me $50!!! i didnt ask price beforehand because when this place was Reeder's the owner was charging me $15 per strip, so... i assumed i would be paying $25 or $30 because, as i mentioned, that is what every other tint company charges... when i called to pay, they said $50... for a single glare strip! well, congrats on overcharging my company for a simple sun strip guys... you just lost my business for life read more

This was the worst car wash I have ever had. It started with waiting in line for 20 minutes while there were only TWO cars in front of me and while waiting in line there was an older gentleman, who I am assuming was the manager, screaming and cursing dropping the F bomb left and right at an employee where it escalated to the employee being fired from what I could hear and he took off his work boots and left. I paid $18 for the higher "Classic Car Wash" and left with my car still being wet as it said it would dry the car. When I returned to work (as I spent my whole lunch break at this car wash between waiting for so long and the actual car wash itself) my car was still filthy I dragged my finger across the side of the car and there was still plenty of dirt and my tires were dirty as well. I definitely did not receive the quality for what I paid for or anything that was guaranteed in the package I selected. It was as if they just sprayed the outside of the car with a hose. So, self service vacuum/shampooers. Not always the best right? Still, these machines were seriously lacking. The price is what you expect to see, but the machines' power is just not there. Not only that, they started off great for about 30 seconds, and then barely sucked up anything at all. I'm sitting here feeding hair or whatever into it and it still isn't working. There were about half of the machines that said "out of order" and only one with shampoo that was IN order. I finally gave up after the second machine I tried the nozzle just fell off the end. The machine will take your cash, not give you a car wash, not give you a refund, and then when you use your credit card because you are stuck at the pay station, you will be charged a second time for the same exact wash. Rather than a "discount," you will pay twice when using their "Wacky Wednesday" discount code. The equipment is old and outdated, despite claiming to have recently had a "grand opening." I have been visiting Main Street Xpress for months now, They are always friendly and have great service. What I love about the wash is they are willing to help with any needs you may have. I am able to get a good clean wash and they provide drying rags to get all water spots off. They also provide Windex to clean your windows inside and out, not a normal thing for a drive through wash service. read more

Went there a few weeks ago and found the equipment inoperable. Put in money and the coin acceptor took the money but didn't register it as received. The coin return didn't work. Since nobody was there, and I doubt ever comes regularly, I phoned the number posted, left a message and after several weeks still haven't heard anything. Getting services is a crap shoot if you enjoy gambling. Lots of luck. For some strange reason I get the feeling the owner doesn't care once he has your money.
