The grounds are impeccably cared for, the pool filled with local spring water which makes for a smooth and relaxing swim. The restaurant and bar provided us delicious and local food, unique cocktails with local herbs and healing properties. Surrounded by fresh air and hiking trails, the scenery is serene and ideal if you are looking to unwind in nature. I do not expect any of "our event locations" to roll out a red carpet for us. However, if they do for our customers who come to have a great time, it's appreciated. If the hotel understands that other than classic trade events we do not fly in participants from all over the world but host guests from their immediate neighborhood (= perfect targets to make them regulars for Sunday​ brunches and stuff ;-), even better. So for years, we had a great time, last under general manager Stefan Schwind, who made our mutual customer feel loved and special every time we can. Then, after Mr.​ Schwind's​ departure, sadly everything was a problem. When in our after event survey the hotel got really really bad ratings, we moved on. We tried to discuss the issue, no one really cared. A shame really, as our event is part of an entertainment group that spends millions in hotels per year.

Two separates ones one starts with an O and another with M. Lots of cobblestones so a little difficult with rolling luggage. Recommend packing light or ordering a transport. Loved the swimming pool and sauna(s) like 3-4 separate ones with different temperatures and humidity! Pool is maybe 3 feet deeps. No diving. Gym great space. Floor 10 smelled like there was a smoker in the next room but opening my windows helped a lot! The restroom, kitchen and bed all very neat. Loved the vas space! Would highly recommend staying hear. Also there was a summer theater festival during the day!

When I first arrived in Frankfurt I was straight off out for a wander down the gorgeous riverside, populated by joggers, rollerbladers, dog owners and anybody else who fancied a pleasant wander along the pretty river Main in the fading sun of the early evening. A man fed bread to an excited group of swans and ducks, a little girl clung on to her mum for help as they skated along and I mooched along blissfully, enjoying the extra few degrees of warmth I'd earned by travelling from London to Germany. When I got back to the hotel I spent time checking out the excellent spa facilities and gym and making plans to use them the following day, but after soundcheck and sightseeing I was only fit for a very comfortable nap under my big fluffy duvet before it was time to go to the show. And then the next morning I was so ill I had to beg for an extended late checkout so I could try to partially recover before heading home, so no spa or gym for me! That bed was super comfy though.

Even at Christmas. I travel most of the time for work. While I don't feel at home in this hotel, I do like it and will probably stay again if necessary or I want the pool. Everything is Extra. No personal touches to make you feel welcome. Even replenishing coffee is 6.00. and that's when we didn't have housekeeping once this week as they were banging on the door at 8am. While this is a business trip, I'm working different hour's so 8 am didn't work for me. The restaurant staff are very nice, too busy at times and need more, too quiet mostly so they understaff. Check-in can be a disaster. I've never seen or experienced anything so slow. On every visit. God forbid you get behind a crew. They don't even make eye contact to acknowledge your presence. Even as a maratim member, price's are better online and with free cancellation then that's the way I've been booking. Staff cannot match the online price to save the company paying a fee which I think is a terrible business practice but it shows the level of corporate environment here.

The whole hotel is full of nice little touches (not mention SO many plants!)--there's a bar, a common area rooftop patio and downstairs patio, and the breakfast room is so cute. The breakfast itself was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had and well worth the money, and the entire staff was so helpful, accommodating, and friendly. The location is perfect--close to the main train station but also a fairly quick walk to the main square area. There are tons of Turkish kebab restaurants right down the street, and several are open late night. Overall a very pleasant stay. Hope to come back someday!

Breakfast included is decent and they have a large amount of space so you can find a seat. Staff seems friendly. The rooms are about average. The biggest problem was the "free" wifi that continually dropped me off and was very frustrating. I asked the front desk and they said no other guest complained. OK right. My netbook works fine all over Europe but not here. Must be some kind of geographical oddity. Nice that it is across the street from the Huaptbahn or main train station which is convenient. I would stay here again I guess.
