Allow yourself some time because the store is pretty big. I especially love coming here when I need a gift or something Minnesota-based as they always have unique, MN-feeling items that hit the mark. It's the kind of boutique where you can happily wander and browse for A WHILE. I haven't had much interaction with staff beyond checkout, and I've noticed they don't typically come out onto the floor--at least not during my last couple of Thursday visits during Marketfest. There are 3 parts to this store and you owe it to yourself to experience them all! I started in the style area, which is the clothing part of the store. This is an upscale women's apparel store, with habitat, Liverpool, Johnny Was, and many other upscale brands. All of it is beautifully curated and displayed. You will have fun browsing the racks. The sales associates were super helpful and knew exactly how to interact with people--making customers feel welcome, but not pressured to buy. Downstairs, there is an amazing sales area. Don't miss this gem! Bargains galore and beautiful things! I'm sure it changes regularly. Then stop at the cafe and have a coffee, pastry, or freshly baked cookie. All the treats look and smell delicious. The staff was very sweet and service was prompt. After that, continue shopping at the Good Things gift shop. Ben was the only one who found a way. He removed the original tension setting entirely to create a blank canvas, then molded and recreated a brand-new tension setting from scratch specifically designed for my new stone. He managed to do this while keeping the rest of my original ring exactly the same. The result is so seamless that it doesn't look like a modification; it looks like the ring was originally designed this way from day one. Because my ring is over 20 years old with numerous side diamonds, Ben performed a full inspection and caught several issues I hadn't noticed. He secured loose stones and corrected a faulty previous repair, fine-tuning the piece until it was objectively a brand-new ring. Ben was also a great partner in sourcing my diamond. I was very particular about the specific grading specs I wanted, which made it challenging to stay within my budget. He navigated the search and found the perfect stone. On Jan 9, I purchased 4 ELFBAR vapes and discovered later they were 18 months and 28 months EXPIRED. I called the shop, spoke to a female who identified herself as the Manager, and I requested a refund. I also pointed out that in the State of MN "Vape shops are NOT allowed to sell expired vapes". She refused to issue me a refund, and then went on to say they WERE allowed to sell expired vapes as long as they tell the customer they're expired, and the customer agrees to purchase an expired product. I told her they certainly did NOT advise me these were expired, nor were they displayed with any signage within the display case indicating these were OLD and expired. This is clearly a case where the business knows they're engaged in deceptive practices and even when challenged, they're unwilling to do the right thing or even back down from defending their deception. My boyfriend finally had the chance to go over there and ask about EXCHANGES which they failed to tell him when they warned him about the 24 hour return policy. I have worked in retail for many many years and the return policy is always different than an exchange policy. I wanted the same exact vape device in the same exact color or another color or even a different vape device of the same or similar price. The best they could do was offer 30% off of any other device. I am severely and wildly disappointed. I don't care if they are "knowledgeable" or "friendly", they're salespeople. They will tell you that any vape they have in that store is great. That's their job. The other part of their job SHOULD be adequate redemption for a faulty product. And I will say again, I fully respect the 24 hour RETURN policy and the communication of that. But I fully resent what was not said about exchanges or even store credit.
